Lol <3 Kcow. Lemur, I wasted about 80$ today and I was sharing it with 2 other people. Tell you the truth, the two people I went with actually said Paintball is so much better than airsoft, during the summer all of us are going to get a job so we can support the habbit, now with airsoft that's expensive, People will spend 300$ on a gun, wooo. But then you get into upgrades that go into 150$ for a SPRING, when I can spend that to get a viture board. On the other hand airsoft for 10,000 thingys cost 30$ but with that you can get into games that last hours long, I rather go for the rush rather then sitting there pissing my pants due to me sitting in an area for an hour and a half. Now paintball, the games last at max maybe 5 mins. Youcan waste maybe 500 balls matters how much pods you have. The arena isn't even big, more of the chance of bunkering some on and ontop of that even the best player can get shot by a noob with a lucky shot. Now with airsoft, if you run int a group of people that were in the military and have years of experience and money, wow your fucked, these guys will have night vision. Don't say that people don't go that far, oh they do. My friend who is into airsofting knows people with guns like SAW srs. A fucking SAW. Then they have those actually camo suits ghilis or something. Suck it up. I took over 100 hits in an endurance round at SC Village last year. I was literally covered in paint from head to toe. The best part was I was playing with a single shot rifle against speed ballers and their shitty guns. I still took out 10 people and got 3 surrenders. I have a pic somewhere of me after. Here is my gun with no hopper.  I will add other pics of my gear. I play with out a hopper now because it is wastes paint and I needed more of a challenge. Edited Sun Apr 27 2008, 03:13AM |

Airsoft mite be expensive at first but it will save you money in the long run...and the guns are cooler. But if you don't like playing with a bunch of military nerds then go play paintball. | ||

Bob why don't you play with a pump? I met this guy today with a pump, hit both me and my team mate in the wrist. Deo, so what that airsoft has cooler guns, when did cooler make the gun better. If you look at the DM and PM have the same design and that's why they are good. Again, Bob explain moar about this endurance round, that sounds insane lol. |

Nice gun Bob, I love the tippman 98 even though I'd never use one. So customisable, but requires too much skill, I'll stick with my MR2. You know what's a good compromise between airsoft and paintball? Woodsball. Not too much rushing, still a fuckload of shooting, get the cooler gun elements in there, and it takes a bit of strategy. You still have to put up with some wannabe military nerds though. Anyone know how much it costs to switch a gun over to a remote HPA setup? I'm using CO2 right now and I fucking hate it *tear* |

I think there better because unlike paintball guns you don't have to fill them up with co2 every like 500 shots. They also have a much higher rite of fire then paintball guns. Plus they look like real guns. Great for robbing your local ice cream man  Not every one that plays airsoft is a military nerd...but some of them are. Edited Sun Apr 27 2008, 03:51AM |

Maddogme if you ever see mine in action you will understand why I use this. I can still nail you in the face when your ball just stops rolling by my foot. Skull Fracture my bro uses an A5 w/ a remote HPA system. His tank was 200 for a top of the line carbon fiber compressed air tank. 35ish for the remote line. Another 35ish for the regulator. All of this paired up with his Special Ops Broadsword vest. I use co2 and it works great but I have that monster expansion chamber and a low rate of fire. CO2's power changes during the day unlike compressed air. If you want to spend the money compressed air is a lot better but you have to drop a lot for it. Since you requested it here it is. I only remember the highlights since I got hit in the head a lot and it was just chaos. The day December 26, 2006. Location Corona, California at SC Village around 3:30 pm. It was the last round of the day and the refs annouced that we were playing and endurance round on Baghdad. They called this field Baghdad since it was mock destroyed concrete buildings but didn't really resmeble it. My bro and I were like fuck this since I took my hopper off earlier because I tripped like an idiot in the 2nd round and all of my paint exploded inside of my hopper. My bro put down his Tippmann A5 and was just playing with his Tiberius Tac 8 Pistol. I was like the gun man in the west hollywood back robbery. My team grouped up in a tight formation and just marched foward. I managed to out flank the opposing team and just take 1 shot at a time. I nailed some poor guy in the temple and the ball ricocheted off of his head. He screamed out in pain and his friend was like "What the fuck are you doing?! Friendly fire!". I replied "I am not on your team" and shot him right in the visor. Around that time I hear someone screaming "Guy with the pistol is shooting point blank!" I glance over and see my bro with his pistol in someone's side and just unloaded his 8 shot clip. Towards the end of the round I made the mistake of encoutering the other team head on and faced about 6 people with speed ball guns. They lit me up and I took at least 50 hits. I just stood there and took aim. I was almost blind this time due to the paint of my visor but I still shot. After I fell back I reached into my front vest pouch and realized that they broke the remaining balls. I had no more paint so I walked towards the exit. Then I encountered a group a small group of kids. I pulled off the best bluff and raised my gun. All 3 of them just surrendered. You have to ask yourself this question. If you see someone covered literally from their hair to their toes in paint. Do you think shooting would make them stop? When I was walking past the other fields towards the parking lot another group of players approached. I just loved how they just stopped and looked at me as I past them. I just said "Endurance Round! I ran out of paint". One of the Mexicans was like "Holy shit HOMES!". The thing I didn't like besides my throbbing head was the taste of paint. It took like 4 bottles of water to get most of the taste out. One of the groups next to me in the parking lot took at least 10 pictures of me. Cleaning up took about 20 mins also. I wouldn't do this again for a couple of reasons. First of all it was extremely dangerous because after I stopped I noticed my visor was cracked. Second it was not much fun because it brought out the worst in everyone. My bro for example just grabbed some asshole and just shot him in the side. I almost beat the shit out the guy that I nailed in the temple. He was thinking charging me but I just held him at gun point. I have a picture somewhere of my back. I look like a freaking leopard. As you might guess I am adrenaline junky. I change so much. I am usually calm and nice but when I get going nothing can stop me. Edited Sun Apr 27 2008, 09:36PM |
