Aks, if you want to talk about languages that existed in Canada before english, go fucking learn Cree. or Ojibway. or Blackfoot. Go ahead. Then come back and talk about it. English dominates Canada because England won. If you don't like it, go back to where you come from (no offence)

Truth of the matter is, the french nobles(governing bodies) left when france decided north america wasnt profitable for them.. the english came a few years later and just set up shop.. there was no battle lol. French left.. English came... French inhabitants were then subject to british rule.. but because we(english.. im not english, im scottish/irish) werent dicks about it we let the french do their own thing. trouble is now its just out of hand with some of the laws they are putting in place that are contradicting Canadian rights. Excuse grammar.. i have been up since 5... im going to bed |

After the initial skirmish france saw it was no longer profitable and didnt bother defending it. Hense they surrendered montreal(capital at the time) to the british. We were both correct, i just worded mine improperly.. probably due to the lack of sleep lol |
