Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Last weeks of high school = easy bullshit homework 4 movies that had a large impact on American since 1970 4 musicians/bands that had a large impact on America since 1950. What did they do?/Why did they matter Don't answer the why's if you want just looking for suggestions. For movies I was going to put Citizen Kane but that shit came out in 1941, so instead I will go with Goodfellas. For music I have the beatles and run-dmc (or Grandmaster Flash) so far. any better ideas? I want to get at least 1 rapper/rap group in there. Any suggestion is appreciated My definite keepers: Movies: 1. Goodfellas 2. 3. 4. Music: 1. The Beatles 2. 3. 4. 2 wild cards that impacted America in a big way: 1. Harry Potter book series 2. ? (videogames im thinking) Edited Fri May 30 2008, 07:18PM |

movies..... schindler's list -[link]- star wars 4 -[link]- the godfather -[link]- bands.. elvis-uhh hes the king and beggining of rock and roll...more #1 hits than anyone else beatles- 27 #1 hits. only people to have 1-5 spots of their song. most successfull band in the UWC ( united world chart) michael jackson-has the world's most sold album (thriller) tupac(for rap)- one of the first big rappers..and he still comes out with songs after hes dead. im sure you can come up with better things for him [edit] after looking at the UWC on wikipedia madonna seems to be all over that shit Edited Fri May 30 2008, 07:38PM |

Keep in mind, that had a large impact on AMERICA not on you as a person. Movies 1.) The Shawshank Redemption 2.) Schindler's List 3.) The Godfather (was infinitely more impactful than Goodfellas) 4.) Pulp Fiction (defined an era) Music: 1.) The Beatles (obviously) 2.) Bob Dylan 3.) Johnny Cash 4.) Frank Sinatra Wild Cards: 1.) Modern Day Sattires (Colbert, John Stewart, etc) 2.) Gonzo Journalism |

Movies 1 Saw (everyone talking about sawing your own foot off) 2 Fight Club (what would really happen if the working class suddenly united and decided to start everything off from 0 again?) 3 Back to the future (who doesn't wanna do 88 in a DeLorien?) 4 Star Wars (even though i hate all the SW movies, it was a major breakthrough for the scifi genre) Bands 1 Led Zeppelin (come on.... John Bonnem) 2 Nirvana (major band that brought popularity to grunge in the early 90's) 3 The Beatles (started the British invasion) ... 4 Will Smith (cause he don't swear when he raps... and he was the prince of Bel air) Wild Cards 1 Rick Astley (after his music career ended in the 80's, he made a comeback recently to plague the internet with Rick Rolls) 2 Chuck Norris (cause frankly I think he would beat you up if you didn't include him in your report) |
