Basically Steel, Me, and a couple of others want to get a 4 v 4 bracket tourney going. Anyone can play and all you need to do is get 3 other people together. We will use a modified cal config since we need round times longer to allow hostage rescues if it ever comes to that. I am thinking of single elimination first to 11 victories 10 rounds per side. Should Awps be enabled? If any of you have some other ideas feel free to post. We have 2 servers to use for this. Steel said he host matches on his and I will do the same with FTe's. The FTe server has sourcetv enabled and I can record matches if you want them to be  . If we get enough teams made up in time I want to do this next weekend. Pairing between teams will be random by assigning each team a number then using a randomly generated number sequence. Sides are determined by a knife round. Even though I encourage crazy competition just remember this is just for fun I encourage people to download ventrilo because you will be able to use it with your team. Just remember you wont be able to spec the other team when your dead =P Feel free to post any comments or concerns and start finding people for your teams. We also have several Vent servers to use: Fishtank Fishtank "elite" and my team's vent I have SourceTV set up on my server currently set to 20 clients and I can record matches too I am agreeing with the first to 11 with 10/side rule(it was actually my idea  ) and I'm thinking of 1:35 round time -- it's enough to rescue hosties and not too little where you can bitch camp half of the roundI'm all up for all weapons/no restrictions rule. 15 second buy time after the freeze to prevent smoke spams but you can rebuy nades all you want. basically a modified old CAL.cfg which was $800 start cash and 1:45 on the clock after freeze Start money with awps should be 16k without awps should be like 10k or something.. maybe even 16k Tell us what you think |

One more thing: Will this be open to [FT] members only or office/surf/zombie mod regulars as well? I'm all up for the numbers. Team creation will be user discretion -- make your own team with your friends but something like me kever bobby and goosey on one team won't happen. I think bobby and kever are going to one team anyways. Go! |
