Whenever I listen to Viva La Vida, Chris Martin and friends manage to paint a picture in my head with well-thought out lyrics and powerful, catchy choruses. If liking Coldplay is considered gay, than I must be a blatant homosexual. Anyway they are very poetic, and Chris Martin writes beautiful lyrics. They're very deep, and thoughtful. When he sings about love, it sounds so personal, and you can probably relate to it, like "Warning Sign", or "Yellow". Lord knows I can relate heavily to those two songs. |

One of my favorites is "The Scientist", which even the lyrics are a little, off, and not so personal. just the mood of the music grabs me I too am a coldplay fan, and I will be considered gay anyday, they are fucking win in my eyes. Also, most wouldn't know about this. but Chris Martin is actually VERY very involved in Censorship. He had a video floating around Youtube of him chasing people down, asking them if they would want the government watching their every move on the internet. Anyways, I too love Cold play, you are not alone  Clocks, Yellow, the Scientist, Speed of Sound, Beautiful world, Talk, What If, IN MY PLACE(another fave), and so many more. Viva la vida is the only one I've listened to recently. But I'll get the rest of the album tonight. |
