Thank you for your thoughts Japa and you're right. As I mentioned CAL hurt us alot more than it helped. For all the reasons listed above. But you make mistakes as a group, you learn as a group and you grow as a group. I told you this last night, I personally like having you here. But this is contingent... upon you wanting to be here. Thanks again. And Goose thank you for your continued commitment as well, filling up office tonight is a damn good idea. Also.. for a little more motivation... here's some Belushi =D | ||

This seems more like an attention thread more than anything else and imo seems rather useless. All you've gotten out of this is whether people are willing to kiss your ass or not and to taunt the general people into asking anyone else if they want to resign. Fortunately, I'm here til the end. But you are making this place really gay. The bad kind of gay. |

Thank you zero for your thoughts. I'm sorry you feel this way, but the only intention behind this thread is to make sure the people who are here share the same feeling of "wanting to be here". If making a thread to openly discuss the events that have lead us to this day is an "attention thread" then so be it. But let the attention be focussed on the community, not on any individual. And if an expression of solidarity and unity within the FT community is "kissing my ass" then so be it. And if telling the public that "If you don't want to be here, then you are not wanted here." is taunting people into leaving. Then so be it. But to me, it's just common sense and in a world where common sense, isn't so common, needs to be said. |

i've never really liked all this talk about change and blah blah blah. i've seen this same thread soooo many times since i've been here. change is inevitable, so all those who praise the first 3 months they got into the ft community, grow up. old members go, new members come. i'm ussually not caught up in the ever so important serious drama that is the internet. but you don't need to go shit yourself that change is happening. its happened before, we're still here, it'll happen again, and we'll still be here. bassically what im trying to say is that life changes, you might as well roll with it rather than reminiscing the past. |

y'all can count on me. though i must agree with japa that things have taken a turn for the worst. the fun (for me at least) is mostly gone, due to the losses of fetus, wild and the zombie server. i always try to have fun whenever i play by going 0-30 and laughing my ass off, but lately it's been a challenge. i agree that the servers have become too competitive, but i do not blame the competitive team for that. if anything i believe FTe and FTc have given a place to vent that competitiveness. if you want to be competitive join a cal clan or play a real sport. im not saying FTe and FTc are bad, im just saying dont vent your competitiveness on the servers. whatever happened to rushing snowman and flashwars? did the fun leave when fetus did? i also dont like all the complaining that goes on. you were spawn attacked? suck it up. a ct camped and killed you? blow it out your ass. complaining gets people nowhere. if an admin sees it theyll respond to it. how many times does this need to be shoved down everybody's throat? Do i not like how we are as a clan right now? You fuckin bet. But do i believe we can turn it around? You fuckin bet. You always here us older members (mostly the surfers) talk about the good ol' days, where rules were rules and if you didnt like em you could fuck yourself. Everything was about having fun. What happened to this? I realise these days are LONG gone, but why can't we get the fun back? Afterall, this IS a game. A game. On the internet. the key here is fun. its a game. get that in your heads. its all about fun. lets HAVE some fun and get this show on the road, eh?
