noskill, i didnt read your comments, at all. ok well right now I cashed the supposed check and am waiting for it to clear so that i can wire the money from that check to them, they said via western union. The check hasn't cleared yet but i don't know what to do right now. Im thinking i go to the bank right away and stop the check from clearing, then tell these people I'm out cuz theres no money to be had. |

ok ok how about i jus explain to the bank that im pretty sure these funds arent really there that the check is a fraud, and then tell these people that i am not willing to just hand over 4300 dollars of my money. | ||

Mad lets make this simple... If you already wired money, your fucked so stop worrying because the bad has already happened, just deal with it and move on. If you wrote a check, cancel it. If you have not sent out any money in any form, then sit back and do nothing, nothing will happen. If this is the case you don't have to tell the bank or the idiots who sent the check anything. Just leave it all behind you. The check will fail to clear and they will deduct your account and you loose nothing. Just don't spend/send any of it anywhere. |

thanx driod i figured this out after i read the article and realized what exactly is going on. i was however planing to go to the bank and making sure for certain that the check is indeed a bullshit one i haven't wired them any money of any sort, and dont plan to. Edited Sat Jul 12 2008, 06:22PM |

Here's what you do now. Call the issuing bank and check to see if the check is valid (odds are the issuing bank doesn't even exist). Tell your bank not to make the funds available to you until the issuing bank clears its check. And respond to these people by telling them you've reported them to the FTC which you can do here -[link]- And then link them to the article you read and ask "HOW YA LIKE ME NOW BITCH!? PWNED!"
