Then have said person wire you the money to an offshore bank account or using Western Union or some other untraceable way. And tada... The tough part is finding someone stupid enough to fall for it... |

yeah but ppl fall for steam account stealers as well. Same thing goes for pay pal. When ppl need money they do lots of things. I wouldn't say they are stupid they just fall for different things then you would. | ||

This happened to me before. I was on the local job site and one was work from home make money. OF COURSE I thought it was a scam but I went with it seeing how long it would take until they wanted money from me. They actually express mailed me 3 money orders for 1000$ boy was I excited. I went to the bank and cashed them and had to wait 5-10 minutes while they verified them. Then the Manager of the bank comes to me and asks me to sit in her office. She says these are fake money orders (what did I know they looked fuckin real to me). oh well I was kinda sad I wanted the money lol This is the last emails we exchanged: scammer wrote ... NOTICE You would be recieving the Envelope containing Money orders today via UPS and as soon as you get this tracking number and ask for the delivery time to make sure you would be around to receive it. Funds are in form of Money Orders in order to make it easily cashed to follow up the instructions. Please as soon as you get the cash from you bank you can proceed with the purchases and if you are not clear on any terms you can write to ask any question. If your Bank would take 24 hours or More to clear the funds after depositing please send in an email stating that. There would be an overall evaluation of your assessment on the petty cash details and arrangement of this little expenditure. Receipts are meant to be kept for the records. *********************************************************** ******************************** DEDUCTIONS **************** ************************************************************ *************** * $155 For BS 1 Accounting software which is to be purchased Next week. * $250 For Peach Tree Software ( US Patent Single Users Pack ) * You deduct $150 for your self for signing Bonus ( This is to help to Multivate staff towards commencement ) * Telegram the rest to the Shipping agent to effect Shipping Logistics for your Equipments Listed below.( this is to be done via Western Union money Transfer or Money Gram ) SHIPPING AGENTS DETAILS: ( The Shipping agent is currently at this location below to make delivery to our new staffs from South Africa and Lagos. Pfft I've fucked up more times than most people have been in situations. Don't lecture me about what makes a person stupid or not. When you go into a decision saying "this is probably a bad idea" and then do it anyway, that's stupid. And fuck your people make mistakes bullshit, people have been on this planet for 2 million years. Every mistake that can be made has been made, if you can't learn from other people's mistakes, that makes you stupid or ignorant, which is worse. |
