My younger sister showed me this game once... I had an open house, and she made it the best party. Its called Mushroom. Mushroom One plastic drinking cup. One deck of cards. Lots of beer. The more people who play, the funner. The less people who play, the more efficient it is at getting drunk. Take the cup and fill it to the rim with beer. Then shuffle the deck of cards. Put the cards in the middle of the table, and have everyone sit around it. The person to the left of the person who used their beer to fill the cup goes first. That person picks up the card and doesnt look it at. He/she calls out the color. If the person calls out the wrong color, they have to gulp down the beer in their can for the # of seconds the card is. Example: I pick up a card and call out red. The card is a black 9 of spades. I now have to drink beer straight for 9 seconds with no break while everyone else counts out loud. If someone picks up a card and calls the right color, they get to pick anyone at the table to drink for that amount. Example: I pick up a card and call out red. The card is a Jack of Diamonds. I get to pick anyone and they have to drink for 10 seconds. Now, when the person is done doing what they have to do, the person who picked up the card has to place it on top of the cup full of beer. They MUST place it at the outer edges. Every turn, the other person does the same. They go onto the edges and you keep stacking. The further through the deck you get, the more the cup starts to look like a mushroom. The person who places the card and knocks the cards over, has to chug the whole cup of beer. # cards = the number thats on them in seconds. Picture cards J, Q, K = 10 seconds. Ace = 11 seconds ADDITIONAL RULE I MADE UP Joker = 13 seconds. This game is VERY efficient at getting you drunk very fast. Its very simple, easy to play, not too many rules, and is a lot of fun. Oh my god how did I forget... FUCK THE DEALER The dealer holds the deck of cards and the player has to guess what card (just the number) is on the top of the deck. If the first guess is correct, the dealer has to drink for 10 seconds. If the first guess is wrong, the dealer says "Higher" or "Lower" and the player guesses again. If the second guess is correct, the dealer has to drink for 5 seconds. If the second guess is wrong, the player drinks for as many seconds as they were off from the actual number. The dealer puts the card face up on the table so everyone knows which cards have been used. After 3 people in a row are unable to guess the card by their second guess, the dealer passes the cards to the next player |

I've played many variations of kings, beer in the middle cards around it, even with Uno cards. but I've never played Mushroom. I like that my turn  It's called civil war. it's a variation of beerpong 3 people on a team, two teams, one on each side of the table. Table has to be Wide, because you have three sets of 4 cups. like in a diamond shape. Each player of a team gets either the right side, the middle, or the left side where THEIR diamond of cups is set. Throughout the game you keep playing until your set of 4 cups is all made. once all of your cups are made, you have to either sit out, or collect balls for your friends. As far as shooting goes: There are 6 balls in play at a time. each side and each person gets one ball to start. Once someone counts down from 3, shooting commences. It is a game of rapid fire, as fast as you get balls on your side, you shoot. Shooting rules: If you have a cup that was made, you must drink it before you shoot you cannot be holding more than 2 balls at a time. you can give balls to your teammate at any time if a ball is made in a cup that was already made, the player is NOT automatically out, it is just another cup. Each Make = One Cup Strategy: The point of having your own 4 cups is so if there is a good player, your team can work together to getting his cups gone first. Once a player on your team has all their cups made, they can go ANYWHERE on your half of the table to retrieve balls for his/her team. however they CANNOT go on the other teams side. They can only be on THEIR half of the area. (from the middle of the table, towards your cups. ANY region within those boundaries) Variations: Since bounces are allowed and count as two cups, and there is also a rollback rule due to rapid fire, empty beer cans can be spread out throughout the area of the table to act as "mines" Sniper option: Each team gets one sniper shot: When a team has at least 3 balls on their side cumulatively, they can call SNIPER outloud. this freezes all gameplay, and no one can shoot but the sniper. This sniper CAN be a celebrity shot, or it can be a member of the 3 person team. Sniper can be called at the same time, the team with the most makes goes first, and they shoot one after another. Amount of alcohol in the cups is always up to the pussies playing, but I play AT LEAST two beers in each four. Let's tank this shit ladies. |

Since its so difficult to please our Mexican Amigo, I decided to create a new drinking game, just for him.  Its called Border Patrol. You need a deck of cards and a bunch of beer. You start by shuffling the cards and dividing them into 4 equal piles, face down. These would be the car lanes at the Tex-Mex border. [Like in Glitch's Mushroom, each card represents the amount of seconds you have to chug for... Ace = 1, 2=2... but the Face cards = a Full Beer. 10=Full, J=Full Q = Full etc...] Now the first person draws a card from one of the piles and glances at it for like a second. (The other players can say 'Steamboat' or 'Border' as a time marker.) Then the card goes face down on the table in front of the person who drew it without anyone seeing what was on the card. Then the player takes a sip of beer and announces the card that was drawn. If the other players (Border Patrol) are content that the person is not lying, they will 'let them pass through the border' after the player chugs for the amount of time that they declared was on the card. Next person goes... HOWEVER, if the player draws a 10,J,Q,K card, they HAVE to lie. If a person pulled a J of Diamonds, they will have to come up with another card to announce. If a Border Patrol agent is suspicious about the card that was announced, then they can say "Show me your papers" at which point the player will have to reveal his card. If the player gets caught with a 10,J,Q,K then the player will chug a FULL Beer. (You gotta remember what cards you've pulled and what other people announced.) If the player is asked to flip over their card and it ISN'T a Face card, then the Patrol Agent that asked to see it must chug for twice the amount that is shown on the Card. If the player announces a 4 of clubs when really he is holding the 9 of clubs and a Border Patrol asks him to flip it, the player must drink for 3 times the amount that his card displays. If the player has a Face card and announces something else and isn't asked to show it, he may then flip over his Face card and ALL of the border patrol agents must chug a beer. (In the advanced version, the 4 piles are divided by suit and the Border Patrol agents are allowed to interrogate the player before letting him pass.)  Edited Wed Jul 16 2008, 07:08PM |

Goose, I love you. NoSkill, get over yourself. Baseball isn't an unknown drinking game. My future roommates and I used to play it all the time. The only thing that I got from it was the Flip Cup match for a stolen base. That's the only bit you've helped on. Jerk. Toast, I'm trying uno. Thanks. |
