As glitch mentioned, it doesn't solve the problem, as 99% of people aren't going to bother to do that. As far as I can tell, there haven't been TOO many trolls on taking for the fun of it. But then again, I've found that the issue with the ff mod isn't too terrible either. At this point I say keep it how it is for a few reasons. |

The buy time is good. If it gets bumped longer, it will be extremely annoying. If you are having trouble buying your gear in the 15 second buy time, try setting up some binds. For example: bind kp_end "buy hegrenade" bind kp_downarrow "buy flashbang" bind kp_pgdn "buy smokegrenade" bind kp_ins "buy molotov; buy incendiarygrenade" bind kp_del "buy decoy" bind kp_enter "buy defuser" bind kp_leftarrow "buy deagle" bind kp_5 "buy awp" bind kp_rightarrow "buy mp7" bind kp_home "buy vesthelm; buy vest" bind kp_uparrow "buy m4a1; buy ak47" bind kp_pgup "buy aug; buy sg553" Also, if you look at the buy menu, each one has a number, instead of using the mouse use the number keys to navigate the menu. It appears that servers are built a little differently in CS:GO, you have 4 different server types that essentially break down to Deathmatch gun game, gun game, casual and competitive. In casual, all talk is on ff is off, etc. In competitive all talk is off (the FT server has all talk on when dead which is nice) and ff is on. I would ask that the server get switched over to a more casual set of settings. That is, at least until the general population in GO gets used to throwing grenades and shooting around people. Granted, it wont ever be perfect. Other then the map being completely different, server is great! Thanks for having it guys! |
