I wrote a plugin that you can use to votekick/voteban other players. I don't think that I've mentioned this (because I, like most of you, do not read my posts). Apologies if I mentioned voteban before--I just added votekick functionality last night. To start a vote, run this in chat: !voteban alco !votekick alco ...if you wanted to try ban or kick me. Of course, you can't ban me because admins are immune.  The argument supplied to either command is either a (partial) name match or a corresponding userid. If you want to get the userid for someone then run the 'status' command in your console. Pop quiz: when would it make sense to target by userid instead of a (partial) name? The first person to answer correctly gets a kiss from nostie. If you see someone has started a vote, and you would like to vote yes for that vote then type this in chat: !yes I've got it set so that it requires 60% of the players present to vote yes for a kick/ban to pass, and that a minimum of 3 players must be present. Also, I've got it set so that voting is disabled if 3 admins are already present. Votes timeout after 60 seconds, and you will not be able to start a new vote immediately following a failed vote. No promises that this plugin is bug-free. Please provide feedback if you see any problems. |

It would make sense if there are multiple players with the same name, such as someone changing their name to someone else's to confuse people. Also, how long is the ban for? And are admins immune to kicks as well? Edited Sun Aug 26 2012, 12:51AM |
