I hate the camping rule, imo with the round limit the way it is unless they're in garage or long snipe at 1:30 we shouldnt be doing shit. and be in t spawn by 1:00? what the hell do they do the rest of the round? twidle their thumbs for a minute? If you want a 2 minute round set it to 2 minutes, you have 3 minutes set it to 3 minutes. I'm fine with camping a little bit because you're baiting out a couple Ts to take them down especially when its 1 v 6 or something silly because your whole team blocked themselves into a corner and got blown up with Team nades or something silly. Keep in mind 99% of the time I'm the guy at the front of the pack of CTs yelling "Run in you fucking pussies" as i spray the shit out of people. I still think we shouldnt be pressuring people to play a certain speed other than via the round limit. And like i said with the exception of some asshat being in long snipe at 1:30 or garage or something. |

If someone looks suspicious, you best be demoing. If it looks obvious and like you said are headshotting everyone/spinning, I will ban. Nothing kills a server faster than an aimbotting douchebag. Under other circumstances certainly I agree that the warn, slay, kick, warn, ban works great. The motd does need a few things added as Mark said. It absolutely needs the where to appeal section added. I also like Goose's rule about the 20 second shot clock type thing. Obviously not to be abused but the admin should be able to know when to use this. What is our round time set at now? I can't remember but I have run into it a few times where the match drags on a little too long so I would like to have some rough times set in place without being too resticting. 1:30 seems like a good time to at least grab some carpet. The 1:00 minute inside of CT spawn seems like a hard one to play admin on because it is very situational. Nostie, I agree that a good slap can get the point across and should be utilized in situations like that. We don't want to piss anyone off that we can get by with simply harassing into moving with a slap or by using admin chat. |

I like the times...but everyone needs to remember nothing is static. Office is a very situational, and every-changing. Simple and vague guidelines are the best approach. Too specific and strict may just cause problems. I am in favor of Goose's 20 second rule. 1:30 is good, but let us not forget that sometimes T's push forward hard and it is strategically smarter to hang back and let them walk into an ambush. Also, the 1:00 thing to be in T spawn is also very subjective. I have seen plenty of times CT's walk into T spawn at let's say 45 seconds in a mad rush, rescue hosties, and make it back to garage within the time limit. In this scenario, i think the best approach would be admin discretion. 1:00 should be a guideline. We pretty much got this down pat...so i think that if a CT is making it look like he/she is trying to follow the objective, let it go. If a CT is taking him/hers time then a simple Admin message to say "get a move on bitch" should suffice. If that dont work, slap then slay. Also, we need to take into account the "T Hunter" effect. Sometimes during intense rounds where CT teams get slaughtered and 1 or 2 CTs are left, it is not smart to run into an ambush of 6 or 7 Ts no matter how much time is left. Sometimes people like to keep their weapons and money for the following round. This is also where admin discretion comes in. Many times i have been the last one alive left fending off 6 terrorists. I simply let them come to me even or go on a terrorist hunt no matter how much time is left. Many rounds have been won by simply CTs eliminating all terrorists since it was more effective and efficient...instead of rescuing hostages. Dont forget, hostages are safe when all T's are eliminated!! |

Oh...and not to sound like a dickhead...but i studied Nazi Germany. Read 3 books and about 300 pages of personal history...with everything leading up to it and after it. Nazi symbols i think are ok as sprays since it doesnt symbolize racism specifically. It was simply a nationalist symbol of unity (which actually derived from India). Also, this server is based in the United States...so i think free speech comes into effect. However, if someone comes in with nazi symbols and starts ranting about how much they hate specific races....ask him to stop and if he refuses than ban his ass. Sexism i can agree with to some extent. But sometimes we dont know if a woman is in the server when the inevitable sandwich joke arises. |

Bandito, the updated motd looks much better. I would specify where they should put their complaints to Banned or Misconduct, but I suppose it should be alright as is it would just be more organized imo. |
