Something caught my eye while reading the Valve CS:GO server mailing list:My server has had a lack of players due to a connection error that says "cannot join you have been banned from this session" even though my ban logs are 100% empty. Source: -[link]- I saw some chatbox messages the night before I went on vacation (last Sunday) which mentioned regulars saying they were banned on FT Classic. Knight restarted the server and everything seemed to be working after that, from what I could gather. My worst fear was that something was screwed up with how the server was configured, but it sounds like it might be a good old-fashioned bug that is not specific to our server. All of this is second-hand info to me, so I'm not sure if this is the same thing that you saw on Sunday night. Does the block-quoted text above sound like what was happening last Sunday? Yea. I was banned too. I got several messages on steam and noticed the forums were blowing up because of it. I texted Bandito to text Knight about what was going on. I was able to get in on the second attempt but many others were not able to. One guy who got in said he was banned for an hour before he could get in. Knight restarted and it fixed it apparently but it was weird. |

I spent a good 30-45 minutes reading through every individual log file and could find nothing. I smell a huge patch coming that is going to break a lot of shit... | ||
