An additional 5 secs has been added to the round. The old round time was 2:15,,, its been changed to 2:20. The 2:15 has been around since the days of a 20 person server. With the additional 4 slots, it only makes sense for there to be more time added as well. I'm sure we've all seen a CT rush out of back window with all 4 hosties and get to the backyard or garage only to have time run out just as the hosties were about to get rescued.  The +5 secs should help with that given the increase in server players means that there are longer fire fights. The added time should mean that CT's will have a better chance of actually rescuing the hosties after getting them out of T spawn.Likewise, the 2:20 makes it easier to distinguish when 20 seconds has passed at the beginning of the round. Once the clock hits 2:00 and CTs are still in the snipers nest just sitting there, it becomes clear that some people are choosing not to engage. Lets try it out and if there are any comments/concerns/suggestions please post. Alex said that this is a 'low risk' proposition so it shouldn't cause any major probs.

24/20 = 1.2 2.15 min>sec = 135 135*1.2 = 162 162 sec>min = 2.42 new time limit = 2.40 min (rounding down) then again nobody cares about my math =\ |

i think 5 extra seconds is fine, its just a minor difference, but makes a big impact

Yea I agree with the extra 5 seconds because there are more slots, and plus it has happend to me when I was rescuing the hosties and the round time ran out. It is a very big impact | ||

Yeah I know, I have also been rescuing hosties when time ran out. It's almost as if I could have saved them if I didn't take so fucking long to get to them in the first place. It takes 30-40 seconds to run from CT spawn to the hosties to the other hosties and outside to the rescue point. Bubble, the time is a good addition, 2:40 is too much. Fuck gotta go, I will finish my post later |

I played the other night Goose and I didn't notice any problems at all with the addition of the extra few seconds. Nice job Alex and Goose with the change.
