Yea, the command in mani_server.cfg is: mani_dead_alltalk 1 It would be a good idea, I'll msg alex on xfire. |

Another reason it's a good idea. If there's abuse, afk's or a need to vote someone. The team can easily tell an admin when they die. Rather than trying to get attention in general chat. |

Compelling reasons: We won't be restricted to only talking to the dead members on our team. This is especially important when the server is low populated. It will increase conversation and friendly banter. A big plus in my mind, is it will eliminate or entirely remove mic abuse. People playing music, spamming, racism, just being generally annoying, etc. Especially when there isn't any admins on. There's alot of times when we can't votekick, share afk information, abuse information, etc. with the other team. Also it's kind of cool. Ok negative consequences... inability to share strats with teammates when dead. Well other than "rush front" or "rush garage" or "back hall nades" there isn't alot of strat talk. Nothing that couldn't be accomplished during the 10 sec buy time. What other negative consequences were you thinking of? |
