google is your friend, but it's an organized league that keeps track of leavers and puts them on a banlist. you also have to get 25 melee wins to join, so people can't just leave and rejoin on a new account name. | ||

I play dota, I can host if i want to. I just turn off my firewall and it works for me just like that. Maybe if you guys want This saturday night we'll play or even friday night. |

Noname I'm having trouble with the ipconfig, here's a SS. I have 2 default gateways show up when I run ipconfig. Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection 2: IP - bla bla Subnet - bla bla Default Gateway - 169.255.190.177 PPP Adapter Verizon Online: IP - bla bla Subnet - bla bla Default Gateway - 71.174.162.92 However when I enter either of these gateways in my browser I get the "Connection Timed Out" on the first one and "Failed to Connect" on the second one. I R Stuck. Halp. |

noskill, depending on what connection to internet you have, try going to this address: 192.168.1.1 and through this site is where you can have the power to host a Battle.net game. I forgot how to find out the username and password to enter the site...i think you should call you internet provider and ask them that you want to enter into this site and probably they'll give you a username and password. | ||

@Slick: It's not a site, it's your router page, you just have to access it from your browser. Everything on the page depends on what router you have. You can access it even if your internet isn't working. @NoSkill: The default gateway you want should be the one under your Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection (2). And it should be in the format Slick gave; 192.168.#.#. Most routers to get on your router it's either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, then the last number changes from how many other computers you have that are connected to the router, from my knowledge. I don't know why you didn't get that, I'm not that tech-savvy as some so I can't give an explaination, every computer I've tried has the same 192.168.#.# format via ipconfig. Quote from router setup guide; "Many routers are reached by either the Web address 'http://192.168.1.1' or 'http://192.168.0.1' Consult your router's documentation to determine the exact address for your model. Note that you do not need a working Internet connection for this step." I'm not sure how to help you, maybe try your other IP's, I doubt they'd help, but just throwing it out there. Maybe even contact your provider and/or look at your router box/info, etc. Maybe if you do some google research about your router you'll find how to get on it too.
