I dont want to be a bearer of bad news.. But your RAM does not remotely match your mobo... nor your processor. You have an LGA 1156 cpu socket mobo. Those new processors can only have a max memory voltage of 1.65 volts otherwise it will fry the CPU. Plus... its DDR2 1066... your board takes DDR3... Side note: Cheap power supplies = system catch fire and burn everything you bought. Its like playing russian roulette with 3 bullets in the revolver. BTW, whats the amps on the +12v rail? ya glitch, noticed the ram problem this morning lol, didn't even think to check it because i didn't have to buy it good news is i sold my account on the game i've been playing for $100 so i gots more money lol the psu i might try but not %100 sure yet, if not i have the one i'm using in my current computer and will just use that making my old computer into a honeypot

Honeypot is like making a clone of a DNS server in order for attackers to attack it instead of the primary DNS server. In other words, it's a defense mechanism used in network security. Trav, should have asked me to make a build for you. I'm very good with them and I assume compatibility and voltage issues. |

that's one use for a honeypot, i'm going to be running mine more to try to capture new worms/viruses/etc to disassemble them and see how they work as for the build, the ram just never came into my mind because i already have it, didn't actually buy it the psu was just a shot in the dark that' i'll have to wait till it arrives to read the documentation and such everything arrives on monday, i'll post more then |
