I read a few reviews that the colors seem a little bland on the Acer (but this is offset by the glasses, which means you have to be wearing the glasses to get true colors). Total comes to $2220 with Acer monitor, $2330 with Alienware monitor + shipping. I know it's a little overbudget, but if your going to do something, might as well do it right eh? If the extra $220-$330 is really going to be a problem, I could look over the PSU again (you could get away with a 650 watt, but with an 850, you'll have enough power for a SLI build in the future, once the price of the nvidia 470 drops). Everything else though I would recommend sticking with, as I included a mobo with SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0 support, and a SATA 3.0 hard drive to go with that. Also a SSD for your OS and games to load nice and fast (possibly a >30 sec boot time to desktop). |

Talked to my friend today who actually just built a 480 SLI 3D rig. He liked my build, but pointed out that I could do better with the heatsink. He also informed me that you can find coupon codes for the alienware monitor that will reduce the price to around $375.
