Hey everyone. It seems I have too much money and I want to buy some subs for my car. I've been looking at enclosed sub boxes and found this dual sub box for $20. -[link]- I also found these 2 600w highly rated 12inch hifonic subs for $50 -[link]- an Equalizer/amp for $50 -[link]- and 10 gallons of gin since i saved so much on everything watchya think? Can i have some monies? Oh, and get a crossover too. Can't go wrong. I suggest if your going high bass than make sure your 4 channel speakers have a very very good mid and high range so it balances it out. 6 years ago i grabbed Infinity's because they had exceptional mids/highs but shit bass. However, my two 500w MTX subs made up for the bass and balanced it out. And go with bourbon/whiskey... and maybe a single malt scotch. EDIT: Just looked at your amp/EQ... that is an EQ/crossover. You still need an amp. I was wondering why it was so cheap. And maybe take a look at different subs... preferably ones with a bigger/heavier magnet and a higher RMS output. 6 years ago i spent $300 on 4 channel speakers, $150 on the amp, $320 on subs, and $200 on the radio. I suggest you find something along those lines in price range. Remember, you get what you pay for. Make sure they hold up the test of time, especially after the break in... cuz 1200w of bass will rattle everything out of place. Edited Wed Feb 29 2012, 05:19AM |

-[link]- and -[link]- keeping the eq, mounting it in the dash and wiring myself. I just want tight hits when im listening to tyler the creator. i dont pick up hoodrats. Considering they would both be getting put in a sealed box, I'm going with the infinity for sound clarity. The rms of 300w and peak of 1200w gives me little room for amplifier efficiency, so i'll keep an eye out for a 2400w to upgrade in the future. Edited Wed Feb 29 2012, 08:32PM |
