| Can't update steam | ||

When I try to open steam it tries to update and then a few seconds later a message pops up -[link]- Anyone know how to fix this? |

Maybe steam is running some process that's mucking with it, try task manager ending all the steam shits then restarting steam and try it again. | ||

Delete clientregistry.blob under the C:\Program Files\Steam directory. Restart steam (will have to log on again). Update should start, and will take a while to complete. | ||

Some program is accessing steam.exe it says. Antivirus can do this. If I got that I would: 1) uninstall steam and all games 2) remove all of their files and folders from c:\Program Files\ 3) verify deletion of steam.exe (if you need a good search program use "Everything") 4) RESTART THE COMPUTER 5) Begin reinstall |
