 TIS I the incredible tmp toting cha. Yeah i know i'm not on here alot but hey, ie6 and service pack 1 on the compy at home don't like showing yer page  that and i've been swamped with AP classes for the past week and half, jesus who honestly expects you to take a test on the 2nd day of class and then go into a disection labAnyways, heres a little problem i have. Since i'm stuck with the title of Supreme Chancellor for the compy club here in school i have to think of ways to motivate more freshman to join. The first idea was to built the cantennas but after counsiling with the vice principle...apparently there are some legal matters which the school can't support making make shift wireless cards to steal internet. Yeah, so now i'm stuck with no projects to do....the solution? Ask the tech savy clanmates here at FT. Someone help me think of a compy project to pitch? unfortunately cs isn't an option either....its "it promotes negative actions and that cannot be tolerated at school because kids don't understand the difference between a guy eating a sandwich during lunch and a terrorist walking around planting bombs everywhere" Plah. srry for the jumbled sentences, the evil eye of the system admins are always watching -_- ~Cha |

You should make a school website. Its a project that you could start, and continually work on. You could enlist people in the comp club to add useful things for students, like resources. You could also have a school forum, and advertise the forum with fliers. Talk about school dances, football games, and drugs. Just a thought. |

i new someone who tried to make a daisy chain of xbox's..to find the first prime # of pie..he got them to work together but never found the end of pie...which he knew he wouldn't.. *shrug* they were all modded and running a unix system. | ||

I agree with making the website and having forums and such. But maybe you could also get permission to do penetration testing on your schools systems (i.e. "legal and ethical hacking") and thus point out the vulnerabilities to the school. Just an idea, i kinda doubt it will fly with the principal, but who knows? | ||
