I just upgraded my power supply on my rig and have a PC Power & Cooling Turbo Cool 510 SLI laying around collecting dust. I bought it in 4/06 and used it till last month. I paid $216.00 and asking $140.00 for it. I could Ebay it but wanted to give you guys a chance at it first.It ran my 2 7900GTXs along with an FX 60, 2x dvd burners, a Raptor 150, 2gb of Corsair 3500, and a WD 400 caviar on an Asus A8N32-SLI .But when I added a Corsair Nautilus 500 liquid cooling set-up the 510 would kick out when my graphics cards had all the eye candy set to holy shit. I upgraded to the PC P&C 750w for the added headroom. Nothing wrong with this PSU and would be a steal for anyone looking to upgrade their current PSU. PM me if interested and we can work things out. I usually seel all my hand me downs to Trueagle but he already has a good PSU. |

Vulture, you have a pretty impressive setup and you definitly know your shit. My idea of 'overclocking' a vid card is opening up my ATI Radeon Catalyst Control Center and checking the box that says Enable Overdrive. Then I watch the temp gauge hover around 45 C. I'm such a noob.

lol the ati overdrive only overclocks you 2-5mhz, thats good for like half a frame per second. lol | ||

But I gotta say its really not too much to assemble your own computer if you know how to read a motherboard manual and spend some time reading MaxPc forums. Thats how I leared about 6 yrs ago. The part I have the most fun with is configuring hardware so there are few or no bottlenecks. I had Trueagle help me with this one due to my eyes and shakey hands. Oh and all this holy shit hardware didnt help me play ANY better,  Bubble you probably have alot more going for you in the sofware dept. I see what you do with graphics and shit and makes me wanna spend more time in photoshop. Kremit seems to know website stuff and Im sure others here have their nitch. |

Im not gonna get into a "which brand is better pissing match" here. I will say that 600w isnt always 600w.. Im not posting this to debate PSUs. I do that on other forums. If someone wants this ok. If not then get an $80.00 PSU |

Narf, it usually overclocks me by 30 to sometimes 40ish Mhz, and that ain't bad for ticking one small box.
