Want to know an easier way? Go to your Cmdprompt, type in "ipconfig" and it should come up with a list of ip's. It should be under "Default Gateway". Copy that IP, type it into your internet browser, and wait for it to connect. You should have acess to disconnect or connect your connection, at least that's the way for me. If you disconnect it then reconnect it, your ip is changed. Tell me if it works or not. | ||

most cable and dsl lines have dynamic IPs as well, they just don't change for a few months. like amped said, you'd need to use a proxy server. | ||

Or use the way I provided, that worked for me and my friend. He has cable, I have DSL. | ||

This might work, too. Open a cmd, and type in "ipconfig /release" then, after it does its shit type "ipconfig /renew". |

kddudes way might work, but I've used that before and it hasnt changed shit. The easiest way I can think of is while you are waiting for your IP address to change, use a proxy. | ||

You can do shit with cable and not a router and u can disconnect with DSL and it should work. Go buy a new router or just use a proxy to get on that one site. | ||
