WOW NATE! go with the dual core. i dont know why anyone would buy the quadcore if this one is on the market. The quadcore is good because it can run multiple processes without losing any speed. BUT it runs super hot. and runs at only 2.6ghz. The Dual Core runs at 3.7ghz.. thats super fast and also read that u can overclock it to 4.0ghz!! LOL BUT ALSO it supports Hyper Threading Technology. This is similar to quadcore abilities. AND it runs much cooler then the quadcore. SO in turn the Duel Core is better. Edit: Im a noooooob! Just realized that the quadcore... 4 cores EACH running at 2.6ghz. BUT that is only if you are using all 4 cores. If you do ur running at a combined speed of around 10ghz lol. OK guys....well what I have decided to wait a few months and let Intel perfect their quad processor and maybe get a little faster ((and not burn up my MOBO)) sounds like a plan to me. Also i am planning on taking my time ((A LOT OF IT)) to find a box that I REALLY like, with appropriate looks, fanage and just over all style. If I am going to build a system ((MY DREAM SYSTEM)) I want it to be exactly what I want. Thank you all for your help, you have nooooo idea how much i appreciate it and how much it helped me. And i am looking forward to re-looking for components in the upcoming months...the technology is changing so rapidly. MUCH LOVE MY BROTHERS | ||
