VHS vs. Beta = VHS won Blue-ray vs. HD = Undecided WAITTTTTTTT!!!!!! Trust me, I worked at Best Buy for a year and I use to sell these things. Not worth it right now. Its true that you can get the "best" blue-ray system on the market right now buying by a PS3, which IS worth it. but you can also get an HD player with the 360 which is also sweet. On Dvd's... Blue-Ray....great for new movies made in High-def not so good on old movies shot in SD (standard-Def) HD Player...great quality on old movies. and on HD movies but doesnt look as good as blue-ray Just wait for the fight to finish.... Plus the prices will go down -Eric |
