Ok, so theres 2 programs that i need. 1: I am taking french this semester, so i need a program that will translate text into french easily and accurately (the online translators are innacurate) 2: I need one that like builders use so i can design a room layout in 3d (i want to build a computer desk and i want to get an accurate rendition of what it will look like) Looking for some i can crack |

for a french translator... you'd need an actual french person. no program can translate word for word... they all have errors. you could use skype @ skype.com and call up some french people though ;D lol |

1. Agree with Kevin. Don't take French. If you do, then all you need to learn is "I surrender." 2. Get a few cardboards boxes. Cut them up to the dimension of your desk. Then BAM!!!! Instant 3D desk. |

French sucks. But you have no choice to take it now huh...lol All i can say is to, well, learn it. For your computer desk.. you can always sketch it. Just make a grid on a huge peice of paper, each box is counted as 1 square foot, and work from there. You would be surprised how accurate it will come out if you keep to the formulas. Any program that lets you design something like that will cost you money, and prolly lot of it. Things like that dont come cheap these days. |

French is teh geys, take German (much better exchange student trip)
As for the desk... just use hammer map editor. It's simple enough, just read the my tutorial about getting started and you'll be able to make a desk (even with working drawers if you know how lol). I used it for the blueprints for my offroad gokart.

i dont like hammer because the boxes are too small. i want a full screen where i can rotate it around easily as for french, i know it sucks thats why i need a translator |

You could always use a CAD program. They're like a couple thousand dollars...unless you happen to find one on the internet. ^.^ | ||
