Hey guys, everyone of you knows me, so now im asking for your help. I just purchased a BRAND NEW X1650 AGP Pro (Full Retail) and it was pricey. BUT, i was running a 9600 and the 1650s not any beter, im still getting the same FPS and everything. Do i need a better moniter or is there something i should be doing Keep in mind this is an AGP card so any advice from anyone with knoweldge OF AN AGP CARD would be great, dont just bs post saying "ummm that sucks" <<< thats really no help to me Thnx guys |

FPS isn't just affected by graphics cards, there's a bunch of shit that contributes to it. A new monitor won't really help either. Does your computer overheat at all? Or do you have a lot of programs in startup? Or do you have a lot of background processes running? | ||

i keep saying this in threads, lol. -[link]- download belarc advisor. the clock speed of the 1650 is about 600mhz if I'm not wrong. if your front side bus is only running at 200mhz, the information will be sent to the processor at 200mhz instead of 600mhz. (or something like that) you might need an entirely new motherboard (or return the card) |
