Okay first things first, i kind of feel bad because i'm not sure if its appropriate to bring a short simple question into a new thread, but i'm not sure where else i'll get help from. So heres the story, i figured out stuff like how to record demos and crap. but i can't figure out how to watch them... this goes for like the demos i record myself and also demos i download from pro websites and crap. pwease help the canoooob! =D haha =P |

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Steam Id\counter-strike source\cstrike Folder, Put them all there. When you want to play demo, you go into console and type playdemo (name of demo) and you are ready. | ||

are you sure it's playdemo? i think it might just be play... in any case, that's it. yeah. as a sidenote: people record demos in fraps, then normally cut down on quality and put vids on youtube and revver, etc... so people can watch them without going on CS/HL2 |

You can also put demoui in the console and it bring up a ui with pause, fast forward, slow down, cool stuff like that. | ||

But basically you want to record your demo file first, then play the demo through console, THEN you use fraps to record it to a .avi file so everyone can view it. If you use fraps in game, your fps will go to shit and you'll end up recording lag. |

Step one: Cut a hole in a box Step two: put your junk in that box Step three: make her (him in your case) open that box! Hope that helped you canoob  (-[link]- for those who haven't seen) |
