So, my birthday is coming up in April, and my parents are allowing me to get a new system, first I was going to go with dell, then when dell bought Alienware, I was going for Alienware, but then I decided why don't I make my own, well.. One reason is I don't know shit about computers. Hopfully they are giving me a limit of 2000$, Any advices..? I know the site: Newegg.com or something. So.. Any help people? | ||

Glitch was recently talking about this new evga motherboard that came out. They can all talk to you about the shit INSIDE your computer. Im here to tell you one thing... You have to get, this fucking monitor. HAVE to. its insane beautiful, and you will not be dissapointed at all. -[link]- |

anywho, I suggest ASUS for motherboards. I enjoy them, think they are usually great, and their ability for duel sli are sick. Video cards go NVidea |

Alright, well I have an Alienware area 51, it's about two years old, mostly stock, so that means out of date by far. I rather get rid of this sack of shit I call my computer, and yes I'm looking for a gaming rig. Btw Rusty, I was leaning towards that card. and Zero, thank you for that link :3. | ||

2 year old computer???dude my last computer was 7 years old. but anyway ASUS Maximus is a really good motherboard GT 8800 is running crysis on highest settings(has the ability to dual) idk if 64 bit proccessors are any good yet but with the maximus it allows you to upgrade and still runs it well i don't know very much about power boxes, but make sure you get a good one... |
