you have custom player skins? try deleting the folder your skins are in (make a backup in case this doesn't work for whatever reason), then clientregistry.blob and steam should automatically redownload the folder for you without any corrupt files that might have been in there. | ||

Its not skins. And reinstalling doesnt do the trick either. I have the same exact issue. You try and enter a server, and you just free. your choke spikes to 40+, and just stays at one particular number, and a message comes up if you dont disconnected right away saying "WARNING: Connection problem", then boots you. But its not a connection problem, it's something else. Also, if you've ever noticed the server REALLY lag when I go in? its because it does this shit to me. I get booted, and everyone is left with lag spikes up to 600+. Then, when you cant connect to one server because you got booted and it says your steam User ID is already in use on that server, you try and go to another, sayyy.... surf to see all yoru surf friends while you wait. WRONG, it fucking does it to you there too. You cant do anything unless you re-enter either steam, or CSS. Sometimes this is all due to updates, and improperly downloading them, other times its for no reason at all. im gonna try the client.registry.blob thing, but otherwise its something else. |

i fixed it. thnx guys. deleted client registry and my css is working. hope to see u all soon
