| Transfer my CSS files to another comp? | ||

So my sister got a new comp and i want to put CSS on it so my friends can play when theyre over. Heres the deal. I installed steam on the comp. I also transferred all my css files over to her comp through my network. I tried putting the files in c:\program files\steam\steamapps\whosyopapi, but the whosyopapi folder wasn't there. i created one and put the files in there, but steam doesn't recognize CSS as installed. BTW i know when people sign in on their own steam accounts on there the game wont work, but i want to know how to install it for whenever they come over. |

yeah i logged on thats why i dont know why the whosyopapi folder was there and pig wheres the gcf files? EDIT: found the gcf files. transferring now... Edited Tue Mar 04 2008, 02:34AM |

should be as easy as re-installing, it shouldn't erase your sounds and maps.. it'll overwrite the stock maps, but i wouldn't worry about the rest of the crap. ie skins and sounds.. it DOES have to be reinstalled, as it's a registry entry. | ||

Reinstall CSS using your steam account. Stop transfering files nub. You do know only one session of an account can be logged in at the same time though right? |
