Actually, kddude, that ip is for Linksys routers. He has a D-Link, which is a diff ip address, but you can Google it. Once at the ip, you enter the password and username (it should be the username and password you entered on setup). Then, you enter the router's menu. From there, find a tab or section about wifi security. Then, input a password for the WEP and you'll get a long ass coded encrypted key which is the password. For WPA, its a bit more complkicated and I have yet to use it... Hope this helps... |

Dlink uses 192.168.0.1 Once your in there go click on "Wireless" on the left side of your screen in the Nav. In there you will find your options. Select WPA and type random numbers and letters in for as long as it will yet you, save those numbers and letters though because you usually have to confirm it and on top of that you might want to access your network wirelessly. If you dont even use the wireless part select the turn off wireless part at the top of the page that you are currently on. I have a D-Link, i have had several actually and i loved them all. Had 1 Linksys and it sucked big donkey dick. |
