My CS:S is fucked, royally. Every time I reboot, Steam cannot connect to the internet for some reason, then when I try to open any App that uses steam, and/or steam itself, it freezes. I tried deleted irroneus system processes, to no avail. I have no idea what's going on. Did virus/spyware scans to no success either. Help me please! | ||

reboot in safe mode. turn off your modem and then do a system restore to a earlier date. | ||

Reinstall Steam? or delete steam.dll and clientregistry.blob from the STEAM folder. Those should work. try reinstalling steam after you try deleting those. |

honestly, I reformatted my computer today. The backup took like 30 mintues, and the formatting took 2 hours and i'm back better than ever. If your system is super cluttered you might just wanna do it. | ||
