I wanted to post ideas of an MP3 - MP4 player I was interested in getting to see what you guys had to think, but I've already made up my mind. So after I post my choice this thread will be more of a discussion for what you guys use and what you are interested in getting in the future or once it comes out. I choice the Samsung YP-P2 (8GB)   I choice this for a few reasons: 1) Touch-screen technology 2) Amazing 16:9 DVD format playback for movies 3) wopping 35 hours of Music play, and 8 hours of movie play(takes care of most airplane trips I've ever been on) 4) and it's amazing Bluetooth technology This also comes with other bonus features such as an outstanding FM radio transmitter( I have never had good run ins with such things as these, but I have heard GREAT things about this one), transferring movie files via wifi internet or bluetooth enabled desktops/laptops, and it even comes with Bluetooth headphones. This thing is a bit pricey, and doesnt do better than most new ipods and shit like that, and the touch screen isnt FABULOUS, but for everything this thing was made to do, it does those things with brilliancy. Amazing small screen visuals, and amazing bluetooth that actually WORKS with no interference or horrible quality. This MP3 player wasn't pricey for me because I got a camera for christmas, but it broke, so I got bestbuy to replace it for me, but they stopped making that exact camera, so they just gave me $200 on a gift card  I only have to pay like $50 for the extra it costs plus a 2 year replacement plan.Review of it says it's not great, but they liked it: -[link]- I know Emerican uses an Ipod touch, but tell me what you guys use, even if it's a CD player or whatever. how do you listen to your tunes, and what products do you prefer?(IE: Apple, Samsung, Sony, etc) |

I have a third gen iPod. It was the model right before color and video came out. It is usable but personally, it is wayyyy more memory than I need (I use 2 and it is 20) and I would rather have functionality like color and videos. Personally, I wanna save up for an iPod touch just cause I am a geek and I want interwebs and such. That looks like a kickass mp3 player though. Touch me in inappropriate places Zero | ||

I personally hate touch screens, they're overrated. I'd much rather have a tune player with a massive amount of memory then something that looks stylish. As long as it isn't too big. |

I wouldn't get a touch screen. I actually use my phone, it has 4gigs space, like an ipod mini. It's the best thing for me since it's small, and it's my phone so it's just 1 thing to carry around. | ||

Memory = Money. I'd love a 80 Ipod but it's too much money and too big of an MP3 player. This one is Sleek and stylish. I'm going for the lightweight sleek, not so much the stylish. kddude wrote ... But the ipod touch is a bit expensive and everything else is also too pricey. But buddha is right... touch screen is overrated, it will just get scratched up and ruined, you have all made me think about this all over again. KEEP DISCUSSING |

My phone was 80$, and the 4gb card was about that too. I think it's a GREAT deal. Cheaper then the one you linked, but yeah, 4g less memory and no mpg video stuff. If i didn't have this i'd just go for the classic ipod video. | ||

My only complaint is that i have to use 3 converters just to get a vid clip on it. Other than that it's been great and has taken a beating.... playback is about 30 hrs continuous for music and about 10 hrs on vid. I usually charge it every 4-5 days so it lasts. My other player is called a "Digital Mp34 PLayer." Yeah.....i bought it in chinatown for $40. 8gb space, expandable to 16, touchscreen, has a 1.3mp camera, voice record, plays mp3's, and mp4 vids. For $40 i can't really complain about it since all i use it for is for vids....but its as ugly as sin. I'll show you a pic of the box if you want xD |

Go with the 30gb Zune. They're like 6 more dollars than a 4GB iPod and they're so much better. Touchscreens blow. iPhone = fucking shit. | ||
