Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Sla wrote ... I have a Pentium D 2.66 GHz. And I had a 7600GT. Thats the same exact set-up i had. I upgraded to the 9600GT. I was very impressed. CSS got an average increase of 75fps, with AA and AF maxed out at 1440x900 res. Before it was high settings with only 4AA and AF with 1024x768 res. Id say its a huge difference even with my budget $80 processor. I can even play AoC with pretty ok settings. Technically high settings. A Core2Duo or a Quad would give me a major boost with that game though. Id go with a 9600GT. From my experience, its runs way better. Its faster clock speeds, and you can OC it waaaaay higher without increasing the voltage. 1 2 3 overclock and your looking at a way better increase over what the 8800GT could ever do. Its also openGL 2.1. The 8800GT if only 2.0 9600GT is the way to go. Edited Tue Aug 12 2008, 01:57AM |

DO NOT GET THE 9600 GT! The 8800 GT is better. It's a lot cheaper too. Most cards I've seen on Newegg were on average 150 or lower. The card outperforms the 9600GT and it's cheaper. It's the same mistake people have made buying the 8600 GT over the 7800GT. The only difference is that the 8600 was dx10. Now, you have no difference. Make sure you choose your manufacturer wisely although that doesn't make all of the difference. And have at least 512MB of video RAM. 1GB might be a little too much and a waste of money IMO. |

if the power supply is the problem, buy a new one. Don't base your video card decision on your power supply. |

-[link]- 126.99 after mail-in-rebate. (8800GT) -[link]- 124.99 after mail in rebate. (9600GT). That was the cheapest for the 9600GT that had the most core clock speed and memory clock speed. However, it IS overclocked, meaning less life for your video card. The card does come with cooling though. The 8800GT runs on lower power than the 9600GT and it has been out longer, so better drivers = better performance. Don't let the 9 in front of the 600 fool you on the card. Be more specific with your needs as well. Are you just going for whatever's the cheapest, or whatever has the highest output of playability for the cheapest. What's your budget, etc. |

as for drivers... the 9600 and 8800 all come from the same driver package. Nvidia released new drivers for all 7 series, 8 series, and 9 series cards. | ||
