Just throwing an idea out there (no idea how feasible this might be). I've seen a couple of surf servers that will switch over to instant respawn when a skill map such a funhouse comes on. I think this is a great idea, because instead of the noobs like me waiting 3-5 minutes for the next round to start, they can get right back on the ramp (and maybe gain some skills). It also turns the jails into a nice killbox. Sound do-able to anyone? | ||

Some maps already do this. Would you have to go into each individual map and add that? I imagine there's a way like you're talking about where if a certain map comes up the option changes. | ||

I've also seen this on other servers, seems like a good idea but I am also unsure how easy it is to implement on just skill maps. | ||

I don't know if I'm missing something here or taking this the wrong way.... But is insta-respawn the same thing as turning surf into death match when a skill map comes on? | ||

Now - Personally, I dont mind doing death match too much on skill maps (we should test it out and see how everyone likes it). HOWEVER, I am not really sure if I want to see death match on the server at all because years and years ago one of the main reasons why I became apart of this surf server was because of the fact that it wasn one of those dumb DM/RPG servers. |

Join spec, rejoin game. Real skill maps only allow you to join 1 team and you can keep respawning. |
