And I'm officially giving the big "F U" to limewire. It takes forever to connect and now the accuracy of the search results has gone to shit. I type in Paul Van Dyk and I get like 5 Van Dyk songs and 25 bullshit tracks without names, albums or anything. Also the top shared items are usually adware. Soooo.... What programs do you guys use to "acquire" your musak? I'm looking for something that's easy, free and has great accuracy when searching by artist How i get songs is usually I'll hear one song I like, figure out who it's by & then download as much of that person's stuff as possible, at either hit or miss. So what do you guys use? |

iMesh - I used this when my limewire stopped working for a while. It is a great program. Never failed me in all of the 6 songs I downloaded off of it xD. | ||

Well, I use my uncle's cd rack.. He has over like 3000 CDs total now, and lives just around the corner. Its great for me, sorry I can't help you out any. However, my older brother did use this program called bearshare.. (I don't think it is free) I do believe you can just torrent the CD, can't you? Edited Tue Sep 02 2008, 07:02PM |

I use thepiratebay.org + utorrent = best Torrenting for the win. Or you can go to warez-bb.org and sign up. On the forum it has loads of stuff and everything is hosted on rapidshare. |

torrents baby, go download utorrent, then go isohunt (search google, not 100% sure if the site is .net/.com or whatnot). and search there. Just make sure to check comments/reviews to make sure the quality is worth it and what not. If you don't want to torrent, find a warez site, although it's forum based, you can find some good stuff. I use sswarez.com. I use it when at school since my p2p ports are all blocked. |

Yeah I don't see why anyone in their right mind would use a sharing program anymore ESPECIALLY limewire. Virus galore. Torrents for the win. By the way don't use piratebay they also have tons of virus'. I'll PM you with a registration code to demonoid.com. Edited Tue Sep 02 2008, 08:51PM | ||

Bearshare and thepiratebay are the suck. Frostwire is an alternative to limewire (loljapa). Limewire is still the best you can do besides torrents though. |
