Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

As opposed to health care for people who don't work for it Ya good idea, lets just let all the people who cant afford 200 000$ the cure their cancer die. Canada FTW. 13billion $ surplus yearly and free health care and a proper school system where 80% or more can afford university. |

I'd rather not pay for people I don't know's health care, if I cared about them, I'd help them out of my own choice, not taxes. Why should I have to pay for other people's health problems? Most of America votes with their wallet, anyway. doctorphate wrote ... Canada FTW. 13billion $ surplus yearly and free health care and a proper school system where 80% or more can afford university. You don't have to spend a shitload of your money on your army (it sucks), if someone attacks you, the US will most likely defend you. You, and your country know that. If we didn't have to spend a bunch on our expensive army (don't say it's because we're in Iraq, because it's expensive regardless), we'd be able to use it on other things like that. Just think back to the ideas behind the Monroe Doctrine of 1823, bud. <3 |

Corporate executives get money for running their companies into the ground, golden umbrellas, they should get golden showers. We spend billions more than any other country on healthcare yet our coverage % is one of the lowest. Fuck profit based insurance companies. Oil companies hire physicists to create complex equations that govern gas prices, because you know, supply and demand is pointless or something. Ralph Nader is still alive...for some reason. And the electoral college elects the president who pretty much only has veto and approval power. Sry I'm not bringing my care boots for this one. |

Wolf wrote ... Corporate executives get money for running their companies into the ground, golden umbrellas, they should get golden showers. Hmm... The CEO's of Fanny May and Freddy Mac (The basis behind the economic crisis) are both employed by the Obama campaign. Hell, one of them used their influence to get him to pick Biden. There is no congressional investigation into these companies collapse because they don't want to bring to light that it was Clinton back in the mid 90's who drafted legislature to force the companies to give mortgages to people who would otherwise not have qualified. For some reason, his "fiscally-responsible" self didn't grasp that housing wouldn't always be a PROFIT. Hurray for a democratic congress, they are doing GREAT things. Wolf wrote ... We spend billions more than any other country on healthcare yet our coverage % is one of the lowest. Fuck profit based insurance companies. Fuck it, European Socialism seems to work so well, let's just say fuck it to capitalism and get free medicine. On top of that, let's get gas up to 9$ a gallon like the rest of the world. We gotta take one for the shitty members of the team every now and then, right? Notice how low most generic prescriptions are now, thanks to Capitalism? Wal-Mart, and Krogers, and Walgreens, and all these other pharmacies have brought the generic prescription price to 4$ a month for thousands of types of drugs. It's a shame that they buy toys from China. Otherwise the Media would let us appreciate what they do for us. Wolf wrote ... No, the so called "Prospectors" are Economists, not members of the oil companies. These are the people that arbitrarily spook us into thinking that a tiny hurricane in East Bumfuck, Paraguay is going to affect gas prices. Did you guys know that Gasoline used to be traded on the commodity market? That's what kept it from fluctuating randomly (barring huge crises, like the 900 wars in the Middle East between the 50's and 80's). Wolf wrote ... Ralph Nader is still alive...for some reason. So is Castro (unless I haven't been watching the news enough), what's your point? Nader is one of the most admirable environmentalists/liberals out there. He actually formulates his own opinion instead of spewing whatever garbage the New York Times feeds the rest of those idiots in Washington. Hell, he even took an admirable course in protecting the environment. Fairly, and legally; as opposed to the Environmental Liberation Front, who nail railroad spikes into trees so that they break chainsaw blades to cut loggers in half. But oh wait, he kept Gore and Kerry out of the White House, didn't he? Fuck, I wish he hadn't. We really could have used a guy who fictionalized his way into getting a Nobel Prize or a corporate ketchup bitch in the Oval Office. Edited Tue Oct 07 2008, 12:05AM |

True I like Nader however he doesn't receive enough national spotlight to solidfy himself as a viable candidate. And by viable I mean, have enough money to cascade the media with his ideas so that he can influence party line voters. You know the mindless nutfucks who vote for someone just because they're a democrat or republican. Whatever happened to having a brain and voting for the person you think would do the best? I believe the thoughts came around to, if I don't vote for my democratic/republican candidate I end up throwing that vote away in the favor of the opposite party. Because we all see how well party line voting has done us in the past. It's not absolutely fucking retarded or anything. I'm just gonna spend the 15 minutes it would take me to vote jerking off in a corner. | ||
