I actually took Buddha's post as saying they are using a non legitimate new source. A plumber? That's the best source you can get to bash Obama? I'll agree with anyone that Obama's ideas are a little radical, and that maybe isn't what a lot of people want right now, but it's a change, and that's why he is getting the popular vote at the moment. The major problem with using a source, such as an Ohio plumer, in an opinionated piece of journalism. In my many many journalism classes, there is one rule we learn, to write news, not state our opinions on the news, which is what this article does. (didn't even realize till now this is in the editorial section of the NY post, which is a right winged paper anyhow) If this is the information people are going to make an "informed vote" on the 2nd, well, I hope those people don't vote. Please find something that would actually make sense and not something some nutjob, with no name could have made up. |
