Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Rusty wrote ... One question for you What ever happened to the separation of church and state? Go ask your history teachers all about that theory. Your one statement of a bias that is against the constitution (first amendment rights) ruins your whole argument. Not to mention he is a Christian. But it wasn't hard to swallow that Bush used the term "born again Christian" to say that he once was religious, which is false as well. Ohh and also, good job playing into the right winged news, I bet you love Murdoch and every thing he has done for this country right? Best chance of getting good news is reading the AP (associated press). It seems to be the last good source of real journalism, and if you find one side of a story you can definitely find the other. And 4 years in the Senate is no experience? It doesn't matter if he listed present and then did not vote, actually, many senators do that because they see the pros and cons of the vote. Highly doubt you've learned about that because it seems to me you are really the one who is too "close minded" to actually look at the other side. But you can't blame me, I didn't vote for him or McCain. Really now? So if I went up to his mom and asked her, "Where did you give birth to Obama" and she says Kenya, that's completely BIASED, RITE? No, Obama is NOT a Christian. He's Islamic. Do your research. EDIT: After checking out Urban Legend's site, these are merely accusations that he is in fact, a Muslim. However, if you are a Christian, you do not vote for abortion, which he has. His mother was an atheist which leads me to believe he followed in her footsteps. I don't read Right Winged News. I stay away from Fox News, MSNBC, or CNN because I don't trust the media. I do my own research because I refuse to believe what someone spewing BS that is the equivalence of a Hitler speech. I'm not saying that you have to believe what I believe, but regardless if anyone thinks I am one crazy stupid ass motherfucker or the smartest Goddamn man in the world, I'm going to put my input on these forums because it is my freedom of speech and I believe what I believe. So seeing as he showed up 130 times and didn't vote on any bills, what do you suppose he's going to do as president when a bill is proposed? Senate: Here's your next proposal, Obama. Obama: Veto. Or I'm not voting on this. Senate: President, we were attacked! We should declare war. Obama: Hmm, let me look at the pros and cons of this war. Wait, I'm not going to vote because the balance of pros and cons are equal. Senate: President, people are dying! Obama: Didn't you pay attention to me in my 4 years of being a Senator? I don't vote. Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave? On the shore dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep, Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam, In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream: 'Tis the star-spangled banner: O, long may it wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave! And where is that band who so vauntingly swore That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion A home and a country should leave us no more? Their blood has wash'd out their foul footsteps' pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave: And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave. O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand, Between their lov'd homes and the war's desolation; Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause is just, And this be our motto: "In God is our trust" And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave! OWAIT OBAMA WOULDN'T KNOW THIS BECAUSE HIS PATRIOTISM DOESN'T COME FROM SERVING OUR COUNTRY FIRST-HAND IN THE MILITARY. Edited Thu Nov 06 2008, 12:05AM |

And since when has serving in the military become a requirement to become president? I guess we should take away over, lets say, at least 25 presidents rights to be presidents because they were not involved in the military before being president. All I saw from you was childish banter and you hit the nail on the head. "but regardless if anyone thinks I am one crazy stupid ass motherfucker" I now think you are one crazy stupid ass motherfucker. And hope to what ever power above you believe in that you are never in a position of power because you'll just pull shit out of your ass like this. Child's play Knight, that's what this is. (PS. good job copy and pasting the Star-Spangled Banner, highly doubt you have the ability to have written that all down without looking) |

(PS. good job copy and pasting the Star-Spangled Banner, highly doubt you have the ability to have written that all down without looking) A president that wants to pull people out of the war firsthand does not understand how serious a war really is. Where does his patriotism come from? How is he ready to lead You are one to talk about pulling stuff out of your ass. 25 presidents? Try half that. Let's go through them, while we're at it. John Adams - One of the founding fathers of our country. Thomas Jefferson - Another founding father of our country (Best president in US history IMO.) John Quincy Adams - Notorious for a corrupt run at office (accusation by Andrew Jackson.) Martin Van Buren - Notorious for the Panic of 1837 (also one of the founding fathers of the democratic party.) Grover Cleveland - Avoided being drafted by hiring a substitute. Ran for mayor of Buffalo, Governor of New York,, all enough political experience to run as a president of the United States. William Taft - (lol) too fat to fight in the military. Woodrow Wilson - (First well known socialist) Suffered from hypertension (First stroke at age 39.) Warren Harding - Suffered from exhaustion and nervous fatigue (Notably died in office.) Calvin Coolidge - Built reputation by climbing the ranks of the Republican party. Herbert Hoover - Worked in other countries while he was younger. Franklin Roosevelt - Crippled. Bill Clinton - Climbed the ranks of his party (slim win for his first term.) Notably, most of these candidates are Democrats. And some of them were disabled and could not enter the military. Also, most of these presidents have had terms where military was not needed or used. If they were, they were either too old or already too far in their political lives to enter the military. Practice what you preach, most of everything you just said to me was in all, irony. I just spent the last hour looking this shit up to prove to you while you can continue to speak from the top of your head. Call it what you want, it's the truth. Rusty wrote ... Irony is that you listed two things I see. 1. You listed that TJ wasn't in the military and is the best president in your opinion. 2. You listed FDR, who in most everyone else's opinions is the best president. And by the books is the only president to serve more than two terms, serving over 12 years in office. So for listing two of the "best" presidents in our history not having military background, seems pretty solid. Also let's look at the fact that Martin Van Buren, the facts you wrote, may be true on wikipedia, but no history book would ever cite his as that. The democratic party, created by your hero, runs like the one we have today, but the democratic party molded by Martin Van Buren is more of a republican look today. Democrats up till FDR's time, would definitely run republican today. And I still stick to it that this is childish banter, because you spent an hour looking that up to try and prove a point, which indirectly help prove my point previously stated. |
