Oh I'm so down. I still play zombie escape sometimes on CS:S. Never gets old. So down for Office.
Also 15 years for me. Fuck man we are getting old as shit.
Also, loving Back 4 Blood. Highly recommend to everyone who enjoys coop zombie action. I play on steam. gLiTch handle was retired with FT. You can find me as theRemedy on Steam friends.

Super down for a rerun. I think we all have some old connections to plan something ahead of time, on an updated game, or even outdated, for all of us to do an event on. I would look forward to that very much

Please...lol. I have been in a huge slump lately.. Been very depressed. Between having g/f issues and not adjusting to the new house/move, ive also been lost trying to figure out what i wanna do with my life. (Actually the g/f thing was a huge factor in all this.. i mean we have been going out 4 1/2 years). Anywayz, some say i am right where i should be. Trying to figure out what i wanna do with my life is what i should be doing. I understand this, as things just dont happen. You have to make them happen. However, this is where im lost. This new move is harder to adjust to then i thought. Im a very social person, but im not too much into change. I have my friends and i dont want new ones. The new area i moved too isnt anything like the city. I have been trying to make the best of it, but its so fuckin hard. What im afraid to do is get a full time job. This being because i dont want it to conflict with everyone else's schedule. If i get a full time job up there, chances are i will have almost no time to come back to the city to spend time with everyone i know and grew up with, including my g/f. There is absolutely nothing to do up there, and if i plan something to do in the city i have to remember to add in 2 hours of travel time. It doesnt sound too bad on paper i know, but when u are used to hanging out with your friends or girlfriend, knowing they are all within walking distance of only a few minutes... its tough. Im trying to figure out how to work and make money, while having the ability to come back to my hometown and hang with everyone i know, also while not losing my girlfriend. This is all hard on her too. I dont want to be a cop anymore. Ive come to terms with that. Now that i have figured that out im stuck. This is where you guys come in. I am keeping my options open so going back to school is definitely an option. Chances are i will have too. My main problem is i can't for the life of me stay interested on any one single thing. I am the jack of all trades. I can like something for a month, then forget about it the next and move on. There is only one thing that i find my self still interested in, and frequently wanting to learn about. Computers. What im asking of you guys, is to help me find an area in computer shit that i can look into. If you know of something, have had experience in something... anything. I want to look into it. Just list areas that have career opportunities... or whatever. Help me out, help me find my way lol. Anything at all would help. Thanks in advance guys. |

the only piece of fact that might be somewhat nice to hear is computers is whats in nowadays. I mean, according to forbes magazine after a couple years of study you should be able to easily find a lucrative job in cmoputers, mainly computer engineering. and aparently there are alot of places that are looking for computer engineers. maybe you can go back to school, get a degree, then find a nice job closer back to da homies?

wow I'm the same way with the being interested at only one thing. Maybe it's a Justin thing. That's what I'd recommend doing though. Working on your computer education or maybe even going get a 2 year business degree to open up your own computer type business. As for the move, can you move in with your girlfriend in the city or something? or get an apartment down in the city? I know it's ridiculously expensive and you don't have a full time job, but it seems that your heart is in the city and without being "home" you won't be able to do much... If you don't want to be a cop anymore, may I suggest being a Corrections Officer? Take the test now and in a few months if you still haven't found a full time job, or even part time, it's an option. GREAT pay, and all you have to do all day is watch inmates and walk around the jail all day. |

also, might not be too important... but when my brother was put on depression medication, he was playing WoW way too much. Maybe stop playing that and that will open up doors.

Dude, just get a job and work. It'll take away that boredom. You'll still find time to go see your friends and g/f. Then, save up all that money, and rent an apartment in the city, and move out of your parents finally. Slacker. Also, moving out of New York would be a good idea because it is a disgrace of a city. Same goes for Boston. |

Sounds like everything here is normal. When you move, of course there's going to be problems. It also opens up a new perspective that your life is NOT always going to be the same with the same friends. It's a tough process, but a necessary one. You'll still see your friends, but a lot less than before. It's part of becoming independent and self sufficient. The best thing you can do right now is find out where the locals hang, and try to mingle. As for you wanting to go back to school, it really isn't a bad idea at all in this economy. A lot of people are delaying their graduation because finding a job is just ridiculous right now. I would recommend something in general IT. No matter how many companies outsource to India, they still need an internal IT to take care of servers, and physically repair/image employee computers. The best part is a lot of companies want to hire fresh IT, so they can mold your algorithms to their liking. Just remember if you do decide to go in the IT direction, certificates are very important (in some cases more important than where you graduate from). The more certs, the better your pay will be. |
