sorry, couldn't resist. In all seriousness, get yourself a mini fridge and a microwave if you haven't already. It's more important that you think, and they only go for about $50. Next get good at beer pong, it's kinda like a universal language that everyone understands. Oh and don't be afraid to go outside you comfort level and go out to parties right away (the longer you wait, the harder it is to blend in with the crowd), that's how you make friends, and I couldn't imagine going through college without knowing anyone. Also also learn to keep ramen noodles stocked at all times, buy by the crate if you can. most importantly, don't sit in your room and play wow the whole time. just go for a walk around campus if you have nothing better to do, you never know what you might see when you put a couple thousand teenagers together without any parents around. |

DO NOT join a frat. worst mistake of anyone's life. Yes, they will be like your brothers, but it is honestly the worst thing you can do. you can party at frats, and meet girls at frats (wouldn't suggest that last one either..) but for god sake's don't join a frat. Get good enough at beer pong so that they want you in their frat  but that's it.JUST MEET PEOPLE. if you're shy and quiest, be outgoing and crazy. do things you've never done before, in a safe environment. It's college, get crazy and make regrets. You have the next 2-4 years to do that and have an excuse. |

Already have a mini fridge and microwave. (they supplied it... wish i could get another one, but they won't allow it) I'm at Penn State, btw... soooo parties will hopefully be pretty crazy.
