I put this thread under school of fishing, because ive seen this clan in both our office servers and surf, and i cant post under both at the same time. Besides that, i made this thread just to get everyones opinions, mostly those have have played wit the Syn clan, on what they think of this clan. I dont want any arguement, or debates, just simply your opinion on what you think, and what you've seen while playing with them. As for what i think, i really believe half their clan is bullshit, they talk a lot of smack, and i really believe kever hacks, i cant prove it, but like i said i think she does. If you carefully watch her recoil, especially when she sprays, it seems as though her recoil is turned out. One incident that i saw today was, it was her against 4 T's, one T was sitting just outside storage unable to see his shadow, and kever heard a 2 guys by back window running. Kever was about to run out, but near the storage door she stopped, and looked to her right, and before she ran out the doorway she started shooting at the guy sitting there. And there was no visible shadow, because i was watchin through her view. Besides Kever, omega, omni, nightrider and I had to deal with the Syn clan before, and they were quite the mouthy bunch. Awhile back i was even told by the Syn clan that they used vent, and that night it was clear that they were using vent again, and kept telling us they were, like we're stupid, and that how its easy without vent. Ive had problems with these guys in the past, and still to this day. I really dont like dealing with them, they lie alot, they cheat, they talk shit, and everytime im in the server while they're playing, everyones always complaining about them. So i would like to hear other members opinions, and i would like head and lead admins to take this into consideration, and really decide what to do with the Syn clan after this discussion. |

I don't know about the hacking issues, but they certainly do talk a lot of shit. I have muted many people with the "syn" tag. | ||

I agree with fetus...they talk shit and it's quite annoying. Kever is really good if he doesn't hack, but I don't know what to look for, as I have never done it... | ||

I also thought Kever hacked for a while. I've played with her a lot now though, and I'm pretty sure she's just very good at what she does. Unless someone can actually show me proof that she hacks, I'm willing to stick up for her to say that she's just one of those players who is better than most everyone else. As for the rest of the Syn clan, yeah they run their mouths a little too much sometimes. But hey, so do I. I've spoken to a few of them that I happen to like, and none of them have stuck out so much that I can even recall their names. I have absolutely no problem with them. I think saying that we need to "decide what to do" with the clan is a little rash. Unless there have been some drastic changes from what I've seen in the time I've been gone, I think they're just as obnoxious as anyone else who plays on the server, and you're all just picking them out because they wear the same tag. Show me proof that Kever's hacking. Show me a log of ban-worthy behavior. Then I'll be with you on this. |

I get what your saying Amped, but like i said, i just wanted to know everyones opinion and their experience with the clan, and what they think of kever. Im not asking for a ban or anything, just your experience with them, and your opinion on them, and you mentioned that, but just remember im not asking for a ban. Im not picking them out because they wear a tag, im talking more so towards their behaviour, considering that their here playing our server right. Things like them telling each other where all the players are through TS or Vent, is that right to do in our server? Coming into our servers, and talking smack about us and the server, are they right to do that in our server? This is what i mean, a lot regulars do and have complained about them, and because of their shit, people tend to leave the server. So i thought hey, lets talk about this among the clan, and get some feed back from members and regs, just to get a feel on everyone opinion, and if theres nothing to bother with, then we wont. If there is then we can talk about that. |

I wish there was some way to scan someone's pc for hacks, because that would really be useful. But the claims have been going on for a while that she has been hacking. Wouldn't Valve have picked up it? I'm pretty sure there is no hack that would go on for that long without getting caught. Even then, I still think that she is legit. I've spec'd her many times to make sure that she doesn't hack, under different aliases, to make sure that she doesn't know it is me. And for the most part, she looks pretty legit to me. A good sound card and headphones will make the shittiest person somewhat better then they are. Add longtime CSS play to that and you have yourself a good player. On nights where I am at my top groove, I'll admit that some of my kills may seem bullshit, but it all ties in with excellent sound. Kever does have her bad nights. I, however, do not think she hacks at all. Just another good player. As for the Syn clan, there are a couple of people in the clan that are well respectful towards me as an admin, so I would not reccommend getting rid of all of them. I did have an incident where I had to ban one of them and kick another because of disrespectfulness and suspection of Venting. It would not suprise me that they vent. Once, I was speccing the one player. He was running down long hall, and the T that was in spawn started to run behind him towards long hall. The player turned around and hid behind a wall while looking in the general direction that the player was heading, and then once they came, he shot them. I know this because the whole clan did it that day, and they most certainly do Vent. If I can look up some of their cocky and certainly Vent cheating players on Psychostats, I will show you the players that don't deserve to play in the servers. Syn are some fuckheads, but not all of them are. I've known Kever for a while, and she almost guarentees me that she doesn't hack, and I told her if I ever find out she does, my God she will be fucked. As far as the situation goes, I suggest to an admin if any of them are being pricks kick them, and if they return and start their shit again, ban them. I've lost patience with most of the clan, but there are some Syn people that are worthy of my respect. It's not my obligation to choose other's actions. |

ok, im not an admin or even in FT but i have played with kever lots and lots of times. And i have played with the Syn clan lots of times as well. Heres my two cents. I beleive that the Syn clan is fine. Yea they can be assholes. Ive been in there plenty of time where both FT members and Syn members start bickering back and forth in the server. Whether Syn or FT started shit first doesnt matter, i think that the "live" server is the wrong place to do shit like that. Whether FT or Syn started anything, the non-FT and Syn members, the reg's all see that either side isnt that much mature about the issue. If someone argues with me and they are assholes about an issue then i ignore them. The saying i go by is this, "If you argue with an asshole then you are no different." As for the Syn clan ghosting, i dont know. So what if they do. Its no big deal. Just a game. Mbay not all of them do so theres no real way to figure out the whole clan. Plus not all the Syn members are assholes. Kever is a nice person as well as Death i feel is an ok guy. Shouldnt stereotype the whole clan because most of them are dipshits. Another thing is kever. Still not sure about her. Sometimes i feel she hacks. But sometimes i dont. Cant tell really. The recoil thing i doubt. Ive seen her kills and i think they are legit. Ive seen recoil hacks before and it only helps if you are not a HS whore. When Kever shoots, her first shot that is fired is almost always perfectly aimed at the head. As for the walling issue, could be. Maby she is walling. It is very easy to show your not walling. And it is equally easy to fuck up and show you are like the example you gave. But there are ways around it. What if the guy who was hiding ran over a flash and sjhe heard him pick it up, or what if she heard him running to that spot, then didnt see him and the only logical (most common) area to be was there. She could be just a really good player. As for this thread... i dont think it really is that much important. nothing drastic needs to be done about the clan. If your an FT member and your in the Server they are in, then just make sure they dont get too rowdy. If you get rowdy back then your only fueling the fire. Just tell them to stop and read server rules. If they continue then if your admin slay them. If they still continue then you kick one. As an example. If he comes back then tell him to listen and obey server rules like everyone else. If he still doesnt listen then ban him for a short time. As long as you dont argue with an asshole and abuse admin powers then you should be fine. thanks for reading my book. lol |

Well for the syn members that I have played with before I really do not like any of them because they are disrespectful pricks quite often but most people are but w/e anyways with respect to kever I honestly don't know I thought she hacked from the first time I saw her and really most of the time I think she does either that or she is the luckiest most psychic person in the world but she does have some off times but they really are not bad at all so I don't know that is just my two cents enjoy | ||

Read the first couple posts. From what i've seen from the clan (dont see them much) i think they just ghost. No hacks involved. I haven't played with any in a month or so, but next time im on if i see them i will watch. | ||
