I said Id never do it, but Im downloading World of Warcraft now. Fucken A guys, I got star wars galaxies, spent a ton of time on it over the course of a month, and realized that "Im not any smarter, more skilled, or benefitted in any way other than the fact that my video game character online owns his own house." I just hope to god I dont stop working to be playing WoW all day long. Anyone else play this game? |

I used to be a wow freak  Thank god i went to he jungle part that jungle bored the shit out of me so I quit. Its a good game don't get me wrong but bloody addictive.I have thought about getting ti again but i can't be arsed with the monthly payments. |

Krem don't do it!!! KREM DON'T DO IT! I played WoW for almost 6 months back when it first came out. It's the most stupid, retarded, gayest, waste of fucking time in the history of the world and YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT!!! So why would anyone do it? BECAUSE ITS MORE ADDICTIVE THAN A SPEEDBALL OF CRACK AND HEROIN WHILE GETTING A BLOWJOB FROM ADRIANA LIMA! Don't do it my friend... consider this your intervention. |

I guarentee that I've spent more time playing WoW than anyone else that posts in this thread. I got WoW in December, a month after its release, and played for 23 months before quitting (November 06). I had over 180 days played on my character, and had the best of the best gear (Level 60 Gnome Warrior, with pink hair of course, 8/9 Dreadnaught, missing chest, Sapph shield, trinket, shoulder enchant, as well as Conq breastplate, Thunderfury, and pretty much any item I could ever desire, including better DPS gear than most DPS warriors). That being said, I was "paid" for my efforts to my guild, in gear. I spent 8 hours every day raiding, and numerous other hours just farming needed items for certain boss encounters. Then, expansion was around the corner, making all the gear I had, completely useless. I was one of the top 20ish Warriors in all of USA when I quit. Can you imagine? TOP 20! Anyway, my gear was going to be useless, so I finally decided to fuck this game, and sold my account on ebay for over $2000. The burning question is, was it worth it? The answer is no. I spent so much time, and had a lack of a social life, no girlfriend, rare partying, and pretty much sat at home, and played WoW as my life outside of school. Since I quit WoW (saying it like its a drug They don't call it world of warcrack for nothing!) I've been drunk every other weekend at worst, and I'm mostly never home on the weekends. In the end, Social Life > Games, and I still played about 500 hours of CS:S since January! |

Let's see....I got WoW in December, just like Ninca, I played pretty much non-stop until march of last year... so that's...I don't know, almost a year and a half I guess. I was an epic-equipped warlock, in one of the best guilds on my realm, and I gave up my social life to play. Eventually, after I had been level 60 for god knows how long, I just got bored. Don't get me wrong, the best part of the game is when you don't have to level anymore and you can just raid and stuff. But it got too repetitive, and fitting my schedule in with raids was too difficult. So uh...that's my insight. Play if you want, but you probably will get addicted. K. |

I will give you a quick run down on the game. You start making your character "Ooooh i want that tall bearded fellow, and i want this elf to be a druid i love turinng into bears and shit" *Entering World* ......... ......... ..... ....... "Wooot finally here, it looks so coool I am half naked and i have a rubber knife. Wow what the fuck Lvl 60 on a horse!!!!!!!!!! I want that" 47 lvls later ( 1 1/2 weeks of solid game play (24/7) ) "Woooot finally got my horse!!!!!!, now what?" Thats exactly it "Now what?" |

Guess I'll say: I play it, and I find it fun. It's only that addictive if you let it, and if you let it, then thats your own problem. It's fun and it keeps me entertained. | ||
