lmao, I heard about the robber thing, quite funny, he won the case. Thats our legal system sometimes though... As for the DUI, if you have possession of your keys and something start the engine, while you are drunk in your car, automatic DUI. Thats why, you need to hide your keys when you sleep drunk in your car. But they can also get you on other shit.... so it just not safe to be in public drunk.. car in public, you're in public |

I'm not touching on the torrent stuff but I'll touch on the DUI since I was asked. DUI's are tricky. I'd have to hear about the other circumstances in the case to make an accurate decision. It kind of goes like this... If the keys are in the ignition but the car is not running, usually cops can make a DUI case. But it depends on other circumstances in order to make the case. A good attorney can probably get this knocked down but it depends on the other circumstances. If the keys are in the ignition and the car is running, you're definitely getting popped for a DUI. Other circumstances are just as important in regards to this one. Also depends on how good your attorney is. Simply taking the keys out of the ignition doesn't mean you are safe from a DUI. If you are driving down the middle of the road. Start to fall asleep cause you are drunk and take the keys out of the ignition to put them in your glove compartment. Then wake up to have the cops there. You are going to get popped for a DUI. But remember. Cops have to prove you were driving that car drunk in order to get a guilty conviction. Reasonable suspicion is enough to stop and more than likely you were driving drunk as the car didn't move itself but cops need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury that you were driving which is hard to do. I've had cases like this that have gone either way. But I was a dick so I used to do things like fingerprint the entire car. Just to show no one else was in the car so I could use that as evidence. It didn't win the case for me but fingerprint powder fucks up people's cars so I got satisfaction knowing their car was fucked for life even if they beat the charges. I also used to show up in court with traffic camera videos showing the idiot who claimed he wasn't driving actually driving in the video prior to me stopping them. I also used to get witnesses from nearby houses that saw the guy. Yeah, I won all those cases when I did that.  Good times... |

If you are drunk and sleeping in your car, put the keys on top of a tire or up the exhaust a few inches,,, that way the keys are OUTSIDE of the vehicle and there's no way you will get a DUI. Public intoxication ticket,,, maybe. I just think that its best to avoid driving drunk altogether. I've got a few friends who proclaim "I drove home after drinking 12 beers" as if it is some badge of merit. The reality is that drunk driving is avoidable 100% of the time. *EDIT* Wild man, you must have a bunch of stories about being on the force,,, you should start a "Wild Blog" or something in Schooling Fish, I know the shit you've seen would make for a good read as well as being informative with regards to the legal consequences of illegal actions.

I download a fuck load of legal anime. It is legal so long as it is not Licensed in the country that you downloaded it in (becomes illegal when it is licensed). this also works for things that have exspired their license. Also there are a few other way around the law. the pope wrote ... y'know whats even better? the REAL dvd for mayb $15-15 For movies maybe but for just about anything else no. |
