For years now I've been wanting to make a Gokart, or get a dirtbike, but I never really had the time to put one together, or the money to buy one. Pocket bikes on the otherhand are realatively cheap and you don't need a license to drive one (not to mention they can reach 70 mph!). I'm really considering buying one from -[link]- (one of the 4-stroke X series). What do you guys think? | ||

i think you should save your money. They r cool at first, but they get boring fast. And they r uncomfortable. After the first week of having it you will hate it, not to mention you can only bring it so many places. Save up for a used dirtbike and go hit the trails. The novelty never wears out. Trust me. I ride one. Its not worth the money. |

SAVE MONEY. You can easily get a nice, semi-old dirtbike, maybe even a nice YZ125 like mine. VERY cheap for what you want, and the satisfaction guaranteed if you are comparing dirtbikes, gokarts, and pocket bikes. Get your wants situated, because these are ALL VERY different |

Well the reason i don't want a full blown dirt bike is because I don't have any trails to ride on around where I live lol. But I do have a nice straight-away on my street that would be perfect for a pocket bike. But since you're saying that it's going to suck after a week, I'll probably just save my money (or get a shitty pocket bike for 100$ lol). | ||

umm,i was in the same delima, and then i bought a yfz 450 (yamaha) for those of u that are quad and dirtbike retarded  . I totalled it. Im joining the army and hope to buy anoher one.My advice is find a older car, like a toyota tercel or a chevy Tracker (1.5L egine) Buy a book on how to make a frame for a off road go-cart. Build that bitch and tear it up. Me and my friends just did this and it works great. Now we need to make it all wheel drive. Goes to 65 on the speedometer. |
