if you want to learn a language, the internet is not the place to do it. If you really have no way of taking a class or traveling, then your best bet would probably be one of those books with the silly little CD that goes along with it. But you probably won't get too far. Learning a new language is not an easy thing to do, especially one such as Russian. | ||

Yea the only languages my school offers are french grade 8-12, italian 9-11, and spanish 9-11. The only place i would even have a chance of learning a language other than that is the community colledge. And I dont think i want to pay money for a class that will be an extra work load during school, I just wanted to learn some of the basics over the summer. |

While I dont know a good website German is a fairly easy language to learn. I took it for 3 years in high school. English is a Germanic language and there for many of the words are the same or very similar. Well good luck with it. If you need some help with German stuff I might know the answer. (but my spelling in German just like English sucks lol ) | ||

lastly goat. if you can get a copy of Rosetta Stone from a torrent, that program is amazing at learning any language. I used it for Spanish and Latin and Italian(they are all someone similar) and I know it pretty well. well, at least I passed my Spanish Regents with it
