i agree with alex, nostie you were always a prick i still remember you taking away my admin because i kicked you for being idle. there are times when i see your good nature but those are far and inbetween and most of the time your good moments come to an end when you try to do something funny and no one laughs i really hope you can change and come back to fishtank a better person but i doubt that will happen so good bye. |

Bleek your post disreguards the fact that he violated Alcohol's privacy using his site admin and changing his userclass. It's not about the fact we don't like him, it's the fact that he's power hungry. But you may be blind and go on with your life, blocking him on X Fire or doing anything like that will not solve anything. I actually tried to convince him to stay, because I don't want anyone to leave, but psh. Fuck that shit now. All I can say was, at least he was honest. | ||

Well, if you didn't, which I can assume happened, here it is in a nutshell: Nostie thought people didn't like him, he felt that he didn't belong in FT if this was the case so he started a termination proposal for himself. Some called him out for a drama whore because he can easily resign or stay in and shut up, others voted yes, and others tried to defend him. A few pages in, he turns around and says basically 'fuck it, im resigning' and shits all over everyone INCLUDING the people that defended him and asked him to stay. Lovely. Alex was far from crying about it... If you read one of his closing lines it said something like "all i can do is write him off and encourage others to do the same". This was, in my opinion, a response to the now closed termination proposal which I am assuming you didn't read...I guess the termination wasn't for the good of the site. This isn't only directed at Alexh. Quite the opposite, you rarely lose your cool like this. This is more directed at people who take every opportunity they get to take stabs at each other, or cry a river about somebody.I don't understand... He didn't lose his cool here, but you are AT LEAST right about one thing... He rarely loses his cool... I used to be like this. If any of you remember Froob. But then I got it, and understood. You don't have to care about people you don't like on the internet. You can ignore them, and just focus on things that matter most. Your "online friends".Ermm noooo.. If there is a thread and it pertains to you or, for example admin abuse, and someone like Nostie sticks their head in and starts to bash you or something, you can't simply 'ignore it'. He was the one that dropped an attention getting self-termination thread in the FT Community Clan forum. Read his thread again and you'll notice that most people were content to question the vagueness of his thread as well as the fact that he gave no reasons (as he said, "Someone who dislikes me can draw up reasons.") He wanted to make a splash and he initially failed. He couldn't let it go, and he just had to end on a shitty note and blame the 'office whores' for his problems, and the problems off FT as a whole. Think about which came first, nostie personally smearing FT members, or me making this post and drawing attention to his conduct, as well as the baseless accusation that FTC'ers manipulate the FT Community Clan only to our benefit. bleek wrote ... He cared so much about his pride that he abused his site admin privileges to snoop the FTC Ops forum. He wanted to know if we were talking about him, because it was "eating him up inside." Apparently it's been eating him up inside for at least FIVE MONTHS as well, seeing as how that is the time difference between when he lost his (mistakenly given) FTC admin privs and when the Ti issues were discussed on the FTC Ops forum. bleek wrote ... The internet may not be "true" real life but it is in a way because of the social interaction you have here. Jesus is 100% right when saying there is no difference between a bar and the forums. There are hundreds/thousands of different personalities, values, etc that come to one singular place to post and express themselves. There isn't too much of a difference with sitting behind a computer screen talking about topics or going to a bar to discuss whatever or going to a dorm room to discuss whatever as well. There are going to be millions of time in your life that you are going to socially interact with people whether it be in college, the military, or in a bar. A TON of experience is gained for a lot of people by interacting in the forums over the internet where it is a safe area. No one is going to punch you dead in the face for saying the wrong thing. The forum can be used as a tool to expand your social interaction tools for those that want to and/or just be a place to hang out. You don't have to like everyone here but you learn to deal with them by ignoring them or coexisting with them. That is LIFE. No good game for you at all. And get off Alex and Jesus' shit for actually posting something useful in a thread. Deal with it. Now you pised me off too. |
