I just got to say united sucks ass. As I posted I went to blizzcon this past weekendish and I live on the east coast so that means I had to fly to California. Since we waited till the last moment all we could get was united. It all started off fine at first out flight from Baltimore to LA was on time and even arrived early. When we got to the airport the tickets they sold us would have had us run half the distance of the airport in less then 10 min (it was not a short distance) we rush there to only find out it was delayed. You might think at this point that everything was good but in reality it keep delaying more and more till it was about 20 min before the airport we were trying to get to was closing for the night. So we got on the plan and litterly had to be in the air in 5 min to get to not be made to turn around and sleep at the wrong airport. That was the way there it was not nearly as bad as the way back. To start our flight from orange county to LAX was delayed a bit. This wasn't a problem since this time around we had to wait 3 hours there anyway. We get there and have some lunch and start walking to the gate. On the way to the gate we suddenly hear that our flight was canceled. So they litterly had like 200 people in line or more just from our flight trying to change their flights now. We get up there and it turns out there are no flights out of there till like 10:30 their time. This makes a 5 hour additional layover past what we already had and a 5 hour flight back to the east coast. By the time we got out of the line it was about 700 people long and that is most likely under how many people were in line. They had canceled like 4 more flights while we waited. (the line itself took like 2 and a half hours.). So they flew us to a third airport in California near the one we started at. We then went to customer assistance there to make sure our bags made it with us after this whole change of flights. We waited in line for 2 hours the person behind the counter would wait 10 min after every person who went. Then at 6:30 he just left in the middle of dealing with people and just said his shift was up. I should have said it earlier but he was the only one at the counter. So we waited a half hour for another person to come up to help us. She also took 10 min after every person to do nothing. The good news is after all that we found our bags did make it there but we still had a long layover. So after waiting till about 9 (pst) we decided to get some food with the stamps they gave us for canceling our flight. Turns out they only worked at the airport we were at before that one so we had to fight with them to get them changed. Well long story short (to late) we got back to the east coast at 7 am instead of 10 pm the day before. So yeh just never fly with united airlines. |

Yes Cobert is doing his part by adding them to the list. I only hope they learn their lesson from being on his list or a group of ninjas comes in and kills the president of their company. Pretty much we went to LAX first and then we were going to whatever orange county's airport is. The airport in orange county dosen't let any planes take off or land after a certain time I think it was 11 pm. We left like 20 min before 11 and if we didn't have everyone seated and in the air within 5 min of when the plane arrived we would not meet that deadline and would be forced to go back to LAX. |

yeah i have had some bad experiences to. i was flying to Florida and had to stop in Chicago because i was coming from British Columbia. so we get to Chicago and we are waiting for our plane to florida during a pretty bad storm. they thought we could get of in the weather so after a hour dely to wait out the storm we sat on the tar mat in the plane for a hour waiting for the line of planes to take off until it was our turn. it was our turn now but just before we took of the storm picked up again. long story short we sat in the hot plane with no air conditioning for 3 hours and in our round trip i watched the movie Sierra 4 times. (i got to go so i don't have time to edit this sorry i HAVE REEEALY BAD GRAMOUR SORRY  |

I was going to fly back to Rochester from JFK and sat on the runway for 7 hours and ended up having to sleep in the airport while my dad drove 8 hours to pick us up. Then we had to drive home. I win By the way, what was the beta key for? Edited Wed Aug 08 2007, 04:32PM |
