It depends, do you know any music theory? It's been a long time, so I don't remember much about learning. Personally I think it's easier to learn then guitar, but harder to get good at. Edited Sun Feb 17 2008, 10:43PM |

Yes Buddha, you can use a normal guitar amp for it. Don't bother getting a Marshall half or full stack like some other asshole suggested here. You're not trying to fill up a concert hall. And you don't need to worry about "Ohmage" (it's called resistance), or impedance. Just get yourself a small practice amp to start out with. If it comes down to it that you really need an amp to play for a performance, gets yourself a tube combo. I have a Fender Deville 4x10 that my band's guitarist uses that would probably sound awesome with a violin. Anyway, let me know how it sounds. I've been meaning to get pickups for my cello. |
